English Manor Wool Rug – Vanilla Bean

A creamy light beige that stays truly neutral. Vanilla Bean is a soft, light beige with ivory and faint taupe striations running through it. It leans gently warm without turning yellow or icy, so it sits comfortably next to both warm woods and cooler greys, and keeps a room light and open.

Natural wool, soft underfoot. Hand woven in India from 100% natural wool, with a 3/4" textured pile and Oeko-Tex certification. It's dense and comfortable, and softer than many people expect from wool. As with any natural wool, expect some shedding at first that eases with regular vacuuming.

Designed by Jill Zarin. English Manor is Jill's take on relaxed country-house style, and Vanilla Bean is the collection's go-to neutral, at home in a coastal-grandmother living room, a calm bedroom or a bright modern farmhouse. It pairs beautifully with natural oak, bleached ash, warm walnut, cognac leather and soft olive green.

Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 14' long, a round from 3' to 10', or a 7'10" or 10' square. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Add a rug pad to keep it in place and add cushion.
