Description
A warm, coffee-toned brown. Mocha Brown is a rich, warm brown with ivory woven through it, so a rug that reads as solid from across the room shows soft texture up close. It grounds light floors and pale walls and makes a room feel instantly settled and cozy.
Natural wool, soft underfoot. Hand woven in India from 100% natural wool, with a 3/4" textured pile and Oeko-Tex certification. It's dense, comfortable and easy to live with. As with any natural wool, expect some shedding at first that eases with regular vacuuming.
Designed by Jill Zarin. English Manor is Jill's take on relaxed country-house style, and Mocha Brown leans into its warm, lived-in side, perfect for a modern farmhouse living room or a den full of books. It pairs beautifully with cream bouclé, cognac leather, natural oak, walnut and antique brass, with a hint of burnt orange for contrast.
Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 12' long, or a round from 3' to nearly 8'. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Add a rug pad to keep it in place and add cushion.
