English Manor Dorset Wool Rug – Mint

A fresh, cool mint with ivory texture. Mint pairs a soft, cool green with ivory in Dorset's raised, high-low weave, so the pattern comes from texture rather than print. It adds a breath of fresh color to a white or cream room without feeling loud.

Hand knotted wool and cotton. Hand knotted in India from a wool and cotton blend, with a 1/2" high-low pile that gives the surface its sculpted, dimensional feel. It's soft underfoot and lighter in weight than a thick-pile rug. As with any natural fiber, expect some shedding at first that eases with gentle vacuuming.

Designed by Jill Zarin. Dorset is part of Jill's English Manor collection, a textured take on relaxed country-house style, and Mint brings in its garden side, lovely in a coastal-grandmother sunroom or a light modern farmhouse kitchen. It pairs beautifully with blonde oak, natural ash, cream bouclé, white lacquer and light grey.

Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 12' long, or a 10' square. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Because Dorset is lightweight, we especially recommend a rug pad to keep it flat and in place.
