English Manor Dorset Wool Rug – Gray Manor

A soft, cool grey with ivory texture. Gray Manor pairs a light, cool grey with ivory in Dorset's raised, high-low weave, so the pattern comes from texture rather than print. It's a calm, versatile neutral that sits easily with white, black or navy and keeps a room light.

Hand knotted wool and cotton. Hand knotted in India from a wool and cotton blend, with a 1/2" high-low pile that gives the surface its sculpted, dimensional feel. It's soft underfoot and lighter in weight than a thick-pile rug. As with any natural fiber, expect some shedding at first that eases with gentle vacuuming.

It pairs beautifully with natural ash, soft white, charcoal grey, navy blue and brushed steel.

Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 12' long, or an 8' or 10' square. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Because Dorset is lightweight, we especially recommend a rug pad to keep it flat and in place.
