Description
A deep navy with a soft ivory lift. Blueberry is a rich, cool navy with ivory running through it, so a rug that reads as solid from across the room shows quiet texture up close. It brings calm, tailored color to a neutral space and makes white trim, pale floors and warm wood look crisper.
Natural wool, soft underfoot. Hand woven in India from 100% natural wool, with a 3/4" textured pile and Oeko-Tex certification. It's dense and comfortable, and softer than many people expect from wool. As with any natural wool, expect some shedding at first that eases with regular vacuuming.
Designed by Jill Zarin. English Manor is Jill's take on relaxed country-house style, and Blueberry leans into its coastal side: think a seaside cottage or a coastal-grandmother living room. It pairs beautifully with crisp white slipcovers, cognac leather, natural oak, warm walnut and brushed brass.
Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 14' long, a round from 3' to 10', or a square. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Add a rug pad to keep it in place and add cushion.
