English Manor Wool Rug – English Rose

A soft, warm blush with an ivory glow. English Rose is a gentle, warm pink with ivory running through it. It reads as a soft solid from across the room and shows quiet texture up close. It's just enough color to warm up a white or cream room without overpowering it.

Natural wool, soft underfoot. Hand woven in India from 100% natural wool, with a 3/4" textured pile and Oeko-Tex certification. It's dense and comfortable, and softer than many people expect from wool. As with any natural wool, expect some shedding at first that eases with regular vacuuming.

Designed by Jill Zarin. English Manor is Jill's take on relaxed country-house style, and English Rose is its most romantic shade, perfect for a coastal-grandmother bedroom or a light, airy living room. It pairs beautifully with white bouclé, cream velvet, light oak, natural rattan and brushed brass.

Sizes for every room. Choose a rectangle from 2' x 3' up to 10' x 14', a runner up to 14' long, a round from 3' to 10', or a 7'10" or 10' square. In a living room, pick a size where at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs sit on the rug (usually 8' x 10' or 9' x 12'). In a bedroom, let it extend about 2 feet past each side of the bed. Add a rug pad to keep it in place and add cushion.

A natural fit for a nursery. The soft blush and Oeko-Tex certified wool make English Rose a favorite for nurseries and kids' rooms, and the long runners work well in a hallway leading to them.
