Confession: I have never missed a single episode of
The Real Housewives of Orange County, Atlanta, New York City, or New Jersey. Confession: Teresa from the new season calls the town I grew up in, where my parents still live, her home. Confession: I nearly wet my pants when I learned a big group of the Housewives were going to stop by the Lia Sophia gifting suite yesterday afternoon when Susan and I were slated to be there!
The upfront presentations are happening here in New York this week, when television networks announce their new fall lineups--which means celebs are swarming the city, which means they need to be serenaded with swag, stat! Enter the Lia Sophia gifting suite, where everyone from Kat DeLuna to
Ugly Betty's Mark Indelicato and the cast of the new
Melrose Place has dropped by to pick up
Michael Stars tees and tanks,
Lia Sophia baubles,
Rebecca Minkoff handbags,
Lancaster skin care,
Habitual jeans, and
sunglasses from Solstice. But nothing compares with yesterday's most exciting swag collectors, two of my favorite
Real Housewives of New York City, Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer.
Both ladies were busy bragging about fitting into Habitual denim's size 25 skinny jeans--"I'm going to wear them all the time in the Hamptons!" Ramona said about her white pair. My sister happened to have spotted her shopping in Southampton just last weekend, so we'll be watching, Ramona. They also each took home a matching pair for their daughters, Avery and Allyson. And you better believe these gals (along with a few cast members from the RHONJ) were boasting about more than just their tiny waist lines--there was plenty of plastic surgery talk being exchanged too. We wouldn't dare say who's had what done, but let's just say there are more than a few nips and tucks among the group...
