The Real Housewives of New York" isn't cursed. No, according to star Jill Zarin, that particular rumor is hogwash. Yes, Alex McCord may have lost her job, Countess Luann de Lesseps may be losing her husband, and Kelly Killoren Bensimon may have temporarily lost her mind when she allegedly beat up boyfriend Nick Stefanov, but hey, that's life. "There is absolutely no curse - in fact, [this show] has been a real blessing for all of us," Zarin told us at Whole Foods' Green Prom Prep event. "We all live our real lives, we all have pain, and we all have pleasure. Unfortunately, sometimes we air it in front of everybody, but it doesn't mean that no one else has the same issues." Zarin's biggest issue now appears to be with new cast member Bensimon. "Ugh, [she's] horrible," said Zarin. "I'm always Team Bethenny [Frankel]. Hands down. Beyond. I think I had three fights with [Bethenny] last night and two hangups, but were like sisters and we always make up. Team Bethenny all the way." Of co-star de Lesseps' messy divorce proceedings, Zarin waxed, "Fifty percent of people get divorced. I've been divorced before, so I feel her pain. It's a difficult time for her and her family, and hopefully she'll find love again. But you know what Judge Judy says: 'You picked him.' I picked a great ex-husband. The Count will be a great ex-husband, and a great father. This is my advice: Marry someone you'd want to be divorced from." Umm ... okay. As for the countess herself, finding a new suitor is the last thing on her mind - she's just trying to survive her current situation. And like any regal lady, Luann - whose book "Class With the Countess" comes out next month - is handling her divorce with grace. "I'm going through a rough time right now," she confessed. "When the show was filmed, things were different, of course. I was in a much different place. I'm doing okay now, but it's been really difficult for me, especially in the public eye. I'm just trying to be positive."
