Style Your Terrace Like Jill

One of my favorite things about my New York City apartment is the outdoor space. We have a gorgeous terrace with amazing views of the city.

When my Outdoor Rug Collection launched I was so excited to play around with all the different designs. In the Spring I settled on the Dubai rug in green for my terrace. I love how it looks and I think Bossi does too!

My interior designer, Tali, and I worked together on styling my space and I couldn’t be happier!

Tali’s Tips For Your Outdoor Space:

In this design I used layers of neutral grays and white tones to make the greenery and flowers pop in the landscape design. I wanted to bring in pops of orange so we used mums for our floral choice, which you can see to the right of the images. Mums are a favorite of Jill’s.

Another style tip that I love to incorporate into my work is to bring in warm tones by adding accents of brass metals. I did this here with the lamp shade and candle accessories.

For terrace designs, I love to add a bit of shimmer to reflect the sunlight. To add shimmer and reflection I chose this accent pillow and buddha candle on the coffee table. You should always use a coffee table large enough for fun styling with items to entertain your guests and create visual interest. When choosing a rug, I love to choose rugs with fun patterns to add scale and pops of color in the design which is why I loved this one from Jill’s Outdoor Collection.
