Weekend in Maryland

I hope everyone is outside this weekend. We are in Maryland for a family friend’s daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. We loved the service and was very impressed with how the rabbi conducted it. He did something unusual. After the sermon, he opened up the floor so to speak for Q and A about the portion of the Torah read during the Haftorah ( the piece of the Torah sung by the Bat Mitzvah girls in hebrew). Today was about beng Kosher. I learned something new. That even clothing can be considered Kosher and that a combination of wool and linen is not “Kosher” and is not approved to be worn by observant Jews. Afterwards..I went to get my hair and makeup done at a local salon Perez. They were so nice to me and other guests from out of town. I just came home. We danced all night and caught up with old friends. ( Shout out to Drew from Filene’s!) Tomorrow brunch at the house then road trip back to NYC. I heard there is a billboard on the Atlantic City Expressway with my mug on it in preparation for an appearance we have June 6th at the Hilton Hotel. If anyone sees it..please take a picture and tell me

    Jill: You and Bethenny are my favorite people on your show. I have watched every episode even when I was in the hospital. I give you so much credit for all of the charity work you do and I feel bad for your daughter having arthritis. I have MS so I kind of know how she feels. You and Bethenny seem to be so down to earth and real on the show,and let’s not even discuss how funny you guys are. I wish you guys lived on Long Island. I would love to meet you. If you ever do any type of appearance out here please let me know. I have to say that Kelly didn’t impress me on the show. I think that anyone who can’t get along with Bethenny has an issue.She seems way too into herself. Hope to see ya on the next season. Looking forward to it. Tell them to stop adding more states to this series, I think NY nd the OC are the best. I don’t think we really need the housewives from NJ,who cares. NY is my favorite and I do watch the OC one as well. I wish you a very Happy Mothers Day and look forward to the reunion show and the next season. Wish you guys were on all the time because the show and you are great.

    Hi Jill..I just had a great idea for a charity event for Creaky Joints. Why dont you have a RH yard sale..You guys can clean out your closets and hosehold items and this way “normal” every day people can purchase something and contribute at the same time..We have one every year at our school…Just a thought….

    The Perez salon is in Rockville, Md. North of Baltimore or Chevy Chase, Md. I am guessing that Jill went to Rockville.

    Half an hour from Annapolis, MD. An hour from Washington, DC.

    Hi Jill;

    Thanks for being so unique and nuetral on the show. I enjoy watching you and Bethenny only on that show. The Countess is okay but I get the feeling she’s not being her real self. Get rid of your gay husband will you, he isn’t easy on the eyes, hate what he did to your apartment… I loved the way you had it before.. that seemed more “home life” down to earth, now it looks like a museum.. not comfy. Oh well glad I don’t have to live there, hope you enjoy it.

    I truly love the show and admire you and all that you do. My mom had Rheumatoid Arthritis and I know the great pain it caused. I pray for Ally everyday and hope that they will eventually find a cure or a medicine that will lessen her pain and discomfort.

    You rock! You appear to be a genuine person. You and Bethenny are the reasons I watch Real housewives of NY. I wish you and Bobby could have stopped by our house for some Maryland Crabs while you were here in MD! I would have loved to meet you. Keep on being you! The next time I am in New York (I am orginally from NJ) I will try and make it to Zarin Fabrics even if it is to buy a swatch!

    This season they are making you look very spoiled and totally out of touch with whats going on in our economy. What I love about you is your not rude. You read people very well and want to cut to the chase, the bottom line. It has served you well. PS I love Gloria!

    I think I may be your biggest fan! You and Bethenny are just the best on the show. I do think you need a new gay husband though. You cannot have a husband that you get so annoyed by. If you want to get divorced and find a new one, I may be the next one for you!

    Your husband Bobby on the other hand seems like such a sweet man! Love ya!

    I would have to say that you are by far the Queen of the show. Not even Luann can top your class. The friendship that you have with Bethenny is so outrageously funny. Please keep it as real as you can. By the way, I hope that Kelly is not on next season. She is by far the most annoying person on the show, and who is she anyway? She needs some of Luann’s etiquette classes.

    i must say you are the real deal – out of all the housewife from coast to coast i find you to be the most honest and true – you also seem to have lost some weight and have been looking wonderful – yet you did not make a big deal out of it – I truly admire your honesty and humor and enjoy watching you on the show.

    You’re the best. You show a lot of class and restraint. I think I would have punched Ramona and Mario out by now. I loved the episode with you and Bethenney hanging out in the Hamptons. You are a very kind and generous friend. Your mom is a hoot. Loved her and how sweet she was with Bethenney.
    By the way, where in Maryland were you? Hope you had a great visit!

    I went to a bar mitzvah many years ago in Alexandria, VA, where there was also a Q&A session. Not being Jewish, I just assumed that was the norm. I remember being very impressed by the audience participation.

    Wish I were one of your friends. You are pretty, fun and sweet. Well, at least I can claim you as Jewish Mishpocha. Anyhow, on the program you rock. It would be a dream if you ever came to California and spoke to my temple’s Sisterhood (Temple Or Rishon in Orangevale). How do you ever control your weight so well? I love your clothes, style, and, color. It would have been really interesting to see how you celebrated Purim, Pesach, Yom Kippur, and Chanukah. I would really love for the Americans to understand our holidays–well, at least to debunk the anti-semites lies. You are so mainstream it could bridge that gap. For some people here, I am probably the only Jew that they ever met in their lives. I was really proud of your mother when she counseled Bethenny Frankel.     Jill: Is it a public event for you and the other Housewives in Atlantic City on June 6th? That would make a nice, weekend getaway for my husband and I. Especially great if I get a chance to spot the Housewives of my favorite show! :) Please, keep us fans updated. Glad to hear little Ginger is feeling better. She’s such a cutie! :)

    Jill, I dont think the New Jersey girls are going to cut it (watching now) There is something so hard about the nj girls. Almost like roller derby girls. There’s nothing happening. Apartment is beautiful. Brad is really talented. Again I think the better show would be you and Brad decorating..Twin sister and I are coming to the Hamptons this July. What to expect? Is it quiet? weather hot? Never been coming from so cal. Tracey

    I just wanted to tell you that I love the show. I loved the episode when your mom and dad visited.I was crying watching your mom give counsel and love to Bethenny. You are your mother’s daughter and your daughter is following in your footsteps. Thank you for opening up your life to us. You are an inspiration to hard working women everywhere. Take care.
