“Real Housewives of New York’s” Jill Zarin has a little ace up her sleeve when it comes to being trumped in the housing market by Teresa Giudice from the New Jersey cast. After Giudice wowed and repulsed viewers with the over-the-top ostentatious decorating job at her new home, Zarin has been on the prowl for a new home herself. One of the more down-to-earth cast members of the Bravo hit (who doesn’t like Jill’s mother?), Zarin was recently spotted looking at the $13 million penthouse at the Laurel, a new condominium from Alexico at 400 E. 67th St.
Unlike Giudice’s monstrosity, the Laurel apartment is a gem. It has four bedrooms, 4,073 square feet of living space, north, south, east and west exposures, 3,000 square feet of outdoor space, including a private roof deck, and a master bath surrounded by glass, with views of the city. In terms of amenities, the Laurel Club, an entertainment space with a theatre and private dining room, is completed, as is the Trophy Room, a two-level triathlon training center.
As for Zarin, the move is a step up from her smaller apartment, currently on the market for $3.2 million.

I hope u get the new pad. I want to see how it feels to live in the clouds. The one problem is your old apartment it was decorated very narrowly. Do u think the decor will have to go neutral to sale?

Jill you need not explain anything to anyone. It is understandable that with all that you have going on you cannot stop and take pictures with everyone. It’s also understandable that Alex would be trying to take all the pictures she can. I really don’t understand how she was chosen to be a housewife. I only see her and Simon trying to live up to the rest of the housewives. Simon is in the spotlight more than her and she is supposed to be the main character. People will always have something negative to say.
If you apartment is listed at 13 million good for you. You are blessed and I am conscious of the economic recession because I have been affected personally by it, but I do not condemn those who are thriving even with the recession. If you want to berate someone by all means berate Kim from the ATL housewives. She has no job and her sole source of income is the show and her married lover yet she spends millions on clothes and jewelry instead of property.
The market will rise again. If you do not like the way she designs her website then stay off of it. As far as her being with Jon Gosselin and Lindsey Lohan did I miss something? Aren’t they human as well? We all make mistakes and fall short of glory. Im not a huge fan of Jon Gosselin but for people to condemn Jill for hanging with them is crazy. I for one love Jill. She is very down to Earth and puts her family first. You will always have people that are envious of you, but remember that is their problem and not yours.

How was I rude? I was filming Season 3 as you saw. I am curious..what do you expect from a stranger on a “reality” show that already exposed their life on TV? If 500 people want my picture on their cell phone or camera ( half the time it is buried in their bag) how many do you think is reasonable? Obviously if I did take with 500 people it could take 10 hours..so that wouldn’t be fair would it? If you were watching me as you seem to have been..I was will a large group of 20 people, skated, and filmed our show. In between I was with some children for Make a WIsh FOundation. I still had time to take photos with at least 30 people. Most celebrities won’t take ANY photos. They feel that if they take one then everyone will AND many sell their photos to the press and don’t want any bad shots around that they don’t approve. I think you expect too much from people you don’t know. Enjoy the show…Jill

I always thought you were nicest h.w. too but after seeing you in Danbury and how rude you were to fans makes me wonder. Maybe it was just a bad night for you. Alex on the other hand was out and about and as nice as could be! Kate Gosselin needs to get off her high horse…her 15 minutes is almost up.

Jill you seem to very nice and genuine, you are probably the most liked of all the housewives on all the shows, you have so much to be grateful for, but I must say, this website comes across as a little tacky and desperate. Having a website is fine if you did it more in a blog style where you write about things going on in your life. People seem to be very curious, and I am sure if they watch the show, they want to know what is going on with you all the time. But what this site consists of are mostly links to or copies of things written about you on the gossip pages of the new york dailies. Now, I understand referencing them to perhaps clarify something that was inaccurate but to reference an article about you looking at a penthouse apartment listed at 13 million, really…..??? Very tacky considering this country is in a recession. Its fine that it was written about you, but no need to put it on your website in case someone missed it. I am sure your mother and your sister would agree.
Another thing I found interesting was that you did omit the article in which it was mentioned that you were hanging out with Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan. It even had a quote from you regarding Jon Gosselin. Now I was shocked that you would associate with people such as them. These are men that have clearly and publicly shown to be bad parents, bad husbands and all around media whores that are a prime example of what is wrong with out society today and what people will do for fame. I have never considered you to be one of them, I don’t think you are in any way a bad parent or wife, but I cannot say the same thing about the latter.
