Guess Which “Real Housewives” Are Wearing Size 25 Jeans…
Confession: I have never missed a single episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Atlanta, New York City, or New Jersey. Confession: Teresa from the new season calls the town I grew up in, where my parents still live, her home. Confession: I nearly wet my pants when I learned a big group of the Housewives were going to stop by the Lia Sophia gifting suite yesterday afternoon when Susan and I were slated to be there!
The upfront presentations are happening here in New York this week, when television networks announce their new fall lineups–which means celebs are swarming the city, which means they need to be serenaded with swag, stat! Enter the Lia Sophia gifting suite, where everyone from Kat DeLuna to Ugly Betty’s Mark Indelicato and the cast of the new Melrose Place has dropped by to pick up Michael Stars tees and tanks, Lia Sophia baubles, Rebecca Minkoff handbags, Lancaster skin care, Habitual jeans, and sunglasses from Solstice. But nothing compares with yesterday’s most exciting swag collectors, two of my favorite Real Housewives of New York City, Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer.
Both ladies were busy bragging about fitting into Habitual denim’s size 25 skinny jeans–”I’m going to wear them all the time in the Hamptons!” Ramona said about her white pair. My sister happened to have spotted her shopping in Southampton just last weekend, so we’ll be watching, Ramona. They also each took home a matching pair for their daughters, Avery and Allyson. And you better believe these gals (along with a few cast members from the RHONJ) were boasting about more than just their tiny waist lines–there was plenty of plastic surgery talk being exchanged too. We wouldn’t dare say who’s had what done, but let’s just say there are more than a few nips and tucks among the group…

Jill, you are unbelievable! Unbelievable!
Have you ever walked a day in Danielle Staub’s shoes??? Do you really know her to make such pointed and “conclusive” statements about her on the Bravo blog website??? Have you ever had to wonder where your next meal would come from Jill? How you would pay for your rent or mortgage? If Bobby was not in your life, where would you be Jill??? Where would any of you women be without your husbands? Is Bobby not your second husband??? Please!!! The audacity!
I think Danielle rocks and I think she has the biggest and baddest balls that you could only wish you had and against all odds, Danielle managed to turn her life around and become an awesome mother to those precious and might I add, cutest and most well behaved girls of the entire Housewives franchise. I think Danielle showed tremendous guts and courage to walk into the lion’s den and face those cowardly women at that dinner!
Those women spent so much time talking about Danielle and her past. Danielle had every right to confront them head on, without pre-conditions!
Danielle has gone through some difficult times in her life and she is the total sum of those experiences. We all don’t have the same kind of background’s and support system Jill so never imagine your truth is everyone’s truth. Never imagine that your privileged experiences are universal. We are all not the same and if we were, life on earth would be so dull.
Please show some respect and understanding towards Danielle and other women who may be in a similar situation.
Deep down, I think Danielle is actually really sweet and vulnerable. I think she wants to be loved, just like everyone else. So what if she wants a rich husband? Hello?? Look at yourself!!! Don’t act so righteous and holier than thou Jill. Its not very becoming of you. I happen to like you so its sad that I am so mad at you today. Try to understand where people are coming from and show some respect towards people’s struggles. So what if Danielle loves attention? Who is it hurting? The last time I checked, you are using your position as a Housewife on NYC to plug Zarin Fabrics and all the other ladies are plugging their stuff as well.
Kindness and understanding will take you much further in life Jill.

Are you kidding….how about GET A JOB! I worked since the day I graduated college. Not a day I don’t work. So at least get your facts straight. Danielle brags about her not working. Even when I married Bobby I worked to contribute to the family. Danielle loves the attention and is “hurting” and lying to alot of people. JIll

Jill, I received my two magazines in the mail on aFriday. I love them, but, I wanted one of them autographed by Brad, but it wasn’t. NOT COMPLAINING< I ADORE YOU. I thought Ally and Bobby might be at the store also, to sign one of the magazines with you , but it looks like the same person signed all the names. My friend received hers about three weeks ago, with an autographed picture, but, BOO-HOO, ( LOL ), I did not get one. Her signatures were very different from mine then I read you had been sick. Maybe someone else signed your name to help you out and catch you up a little or you were on vacation.
Of course May is almost gone, and you must be sick to death of all of this magazine business and your fans sending you these things with boring letters. SORRY !!!!
I thought the New Jersey Housewives little girls were just mis-behaving terribly in that children’s clothing store. One child was even playing with some money in the cash register, and her mother did nothing to stop her or even correct her. Did you see all that cash one of the mothers shelled out for those clothes? ( I have not learned all their names yet ). I don’t care for them. I will stay with New York and Orange County. Hi Vicki…all the autographs are authentic. I do have different signatures depending on my mood. I don’t use a signature stamp as many celebrities too. You are very lucky and have the ONLY signed copy with Ally and Bobby as of now. Sorry you though you were deceived…but we would not do that. Brad was not available to sign. I LOVE THAT RED BAG!! who made it??? To bad my weekend is my husbands hot rod shows and horse shows!! my husband barrel races his horses so I take my 5 year old son !! I am not complaining just wish I had some more meeeee time!!:)

Of course they’re gonna take freebies! What do you think they are going to turn it down?! The whole reason designers give them freebies is so people like us see them wearing it and then we copy! DUH!!!!!!!! Jill don’t listen to stupid people. You are fabulous, whether you are copping freebies or spending a fortune!

Freebies is part of the business. For celebs to wear these fashions encourage other to make the same buy. Nothing wrong with this at all, it’s been going on for decades. I would rather see Jill’s fashion sense than any of the NJ Housewives by far!

Why do you need to go places to get free designer clothes etc.?
Hopefully you are giving them to charity.
I thought you said we were suppose to spend money to help the economy.
So,, how does taking freebies (mom jeans) help the economy.
