Thank you all for so much love and support over the past 12 weeks. I am so grateful to Bravo and Richochette for all they did for me. I don’t know what the future holds but will always remember this experience with great memories. Please email me your comments and go to www.therealfansofjillzarin.com and talk about the show. You can see video from the party we had last night with all my friends and family. You will get to meet Wayne, Gloria and friends I grew up with. Love XOXO Jill

Hi Jill I’m in the process of looking for doctors to do my breast reduction and I wanted to know what I should look for and how yours came out
July 2nd, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Hi Jill, Big fan, 1st time blogger … Real Housewives is my guilty pleasure and you are one of my favorites. That is why I am writing … something really bothered me this season … when you were interviewed by that British gentleman for a radio program … he pointed his finger at you and told you that the state of the economy was YOUR FAULT! What the bleep was that? It keeps nagging at me. Did you understand what he meant? Was it because you are rich? Was it anti-semetic? Was it anti-American? I thought you were brilliant when you had a response about doing the charity work and building a school in Africa. You are SO NOT the problem. It is businesses like yours and charities that you sponsor that keep America going and in good favor. If you can let me know what he meant, please enlighten me. Take care, Lisa

Thank you Lisa..I could not agree with you MORE!

Jill ~
Just wanted to say you and B are my most favorite wives, but I so especially love your mom! I lost my mom when I was 8 so I have such a thing for strong, loving, wise moms. I love her advice. You are one lucky person!
May 27th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
Jill…you are my favorite, Bethany is a close second! Love, love, love your Mom too!!! You & Bethany remind me of a modern day Lucy & Ethel, in a good way….you are so much fun to watch when you are together.
You have the biggest heart. You are a rare gem!
Hope there will be another season.

Jill you appear to be the most compassionate one, with you love of charities and awareness. I knew that you are the one I need to go to to get help for my passion for bringing awareness to my cause. My 14 year old son completed suicide 01/03/1998. It is the most trajic thing (a parent loosing a child) to have to bury your child because they choose to take their own life. I also have a cousin 30, a second cousin 18, my daughter’s best friends brother 20, and a friend 35 that have completed suicide all with in a 8 year period of time I have written to the Montel Williams Show, my local news paper, schools in my town, anyone I thought could offer me the resources to bring awareness to this aweful epidimic. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in teen and pre-teen population, some as early as 8 are taking their own lives. I do not understand why I can’t get someones attention to help me get the word out there! As much as it kills me to have lost my son, it hurts as bad to see this problem go on being ignored. I would love to go to every school that would let me, any forum, any audiance that would listen and learn from my story. Please help me anyway you can. Education is vital to lower the statistics and help to save our children.

I think you are a wonderful person. I think that you, Bethany, and LuAnn should adopt me.. LOL. I am a 49 year old female. Take me under your wings and make me a better person. Jill, you could teach me how to dress, Bethany could teach me how to cook, and LuAnn could teach me how to be classy. Then maybe I could find a good man to marry.
Love you all and Love your Mommy. Best wishes for you three.

Jill,
I’ve watched the show from the very beginning and I’m just so shocked at everyones’s behavior. You cannot call each other friends because this is now how real friends behave. Your’re all jealous of one another and constantly outdoing each other. You have to have the better dress, the better charity, the better pocketbooks, the better shoes, and it goes on and on.
I’ve had the same friends for 30 years and we have never stabbed one other in the back like the six of you. I would be ashamed to act the way you all do in front of thousands of fans. I do adore your daughter and I like your husband. When your husband bought you a new vehicle you were upset because it didn’t come with a GPS. You should have thanked him and kept your mouth shut. I think all six of you are very selfish and self-centered. I’d like to teach the six of you about real friendship and compassion.
May 11th, 2009 at 1:03 pm
Dear Jill:
Please don’t tell me you won’t be back next year! You and your family are my absolute favorites. I also love Luann! You are fun and bright so please don’t think about not being there.
May 10th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
Jill , your the best. Please tell me you’ll be on next season. You and Bobby remind me of my own marriage. We don’t have the money but the important part(the relationship between husband and wife)that is what makes me smile! the two of you are warriors for each other, thats what I love!Take care of yourself and hope to see you next season!
May 10th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
Hi Jill. I first want to tell you, that I have MS, Hemachromatosis, high blood pressure, thyroid disease and now have been diagnosed with arthritis in the back of my neck. Ouch! But I am also a 56 year old woman who has had a great life and will continue to do so no matter what and I only wish our state had three of you and oh what a difference there would be in the nonprofit world of fund/friend raising too! I too, am a seasoned non-profit fund-raiser/executive director with over 25 years in the business. In fact, I am a Certified Fund Raising Executive or, CFRE and proud to have earned the certification. I think you have done a marvelous job with your charitable events work and know several other professionals who feel the same way as I do. Patty above says the show is insulting to the profession of event management and fund raising. If a PROFESSIONAL were running it I would agree. But you aren’t and neither was Bethany. In all honesty too, I think Bethany was truly innocent in what she did but as my husband always accuses me, I always take the high road with people. In charitable work you learn as you go and I for one cringe when people hire professionals to run things cause it usually takes away dollars from the event. And yes, I have been hired in the past to do things but gave far more than I was hired to do to even it out. You go on with your good works cause you are doing swell in my book.
P.S. Did you know that it was once said that if everyone in the United States would give $1 of their money to charity that charities would never have to fund raise again? Wouldn’t that be grand in the scheme of things.
From one who loves the world of non profits and what they stand for and do…Paula.

Hi Jill…
First, let me say I love your show and it is the only Housewives I watch. I also am very impressed of your support of your family. My family is the reason I am writing you.
My youngest daughter, Ellen, is 14 years old and suffers from a heart condition. Because of research done with the American Heart Assoc she has been able to have some great procedures done and live a fairly normal life. Just like you with Creaky Joints, I am very active and committed to the American Heart Assoc in my area because of this.
The West TN Chapter of the American Heart Assoc will be holding the Annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala which includes a silent auction. It would be awesome if we could include an item from you. Therefore I am hoping you will consider sending us an item for our auction to be held on May 30th in Jackson, TN.
May 9th, 2009 at 10:30 pm
Hi Jill.
My first time writing anyone but love the show so much I must let you know!
I believe you and Bethaney are the only real people on the show that are being yourselves!
Those other “Housewives” seem so phoney to me. altho it makes good TV (such drama)
and where in the world did they find (can’t think of her name, give me a minute)!!KELLY!!
I’m so curious how they pick who will be the ” housewives”?
I must tell you that you have a beautiful smile and your daughter is so pretty, where did she get those beautiful blue eye’s brown is usually dominate.
It sound’s like you have a very busy life, did you have any idea you would become a “star” when all this began.
Take care and remember” your health is your wealth”
Keep being true to yourself
May 9th, 2009 at 10:09 pm
Hi Jill,
This is my first time of writing to anyone, but I enjoy the show so much I must let you know!

You are so much fun to watch. RH-NYC is only show I watch on TV. I cannot wait for the reunion show next week. We talk about you everyday. I can give Bethenny a run for her money on my “Jill Zarin” impression. Here is to a good life shared.
May 8th, 2009 at 11:36 pm
Jill,
My sister, my mother and I never miss an episode of RHWoNY, and it is mostly due to you. Please tell me you are not leaving the show!!! I respect your need for privacy and the opportunity to live your life as it was before, but as a selfish viewer I don’t want you to go. You are the most kind and genuine houswife on the show. It seems as if you are the only one not pretending for the cameras. If you are leaving, then I wish you well, but know that you will be missed.
Good luck in everthing!
May 8th, 2009 at 9:51 pm
Jill - We’re not big TV watchers — However, my daughter and I look forward to the program each week. We love the personality dynamics, the excitement of NYC life, the fashions, the pace and the tone of the show. My daughter (who is now 21, recently graduated from college and living/working in Hollywood - asked me who my favorite housewife is?) - From the series….Honestly, you seem to be the most well rounded, savvy, grounded personality on the program. You’re a great parent, businesswoman, wife and quality person! Thanks for a terrific season - and continued success and happiness to you and your family! DW
May 8th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
I absolutely love you! Do you think this is the last season of NYC housewives? I will be devastated! You guys are the most entertaining and definitely the ‘realest’ of all the housewives shows. Thanks for keeping us entertained and inspired!
May 8th, 2009 at 9:09 am
Jill, It’s interesting that many who enjoy you on the show enjoy Bethenny as well, as do I. Your smile at the end of the fundraiser was radiant and so full of joy. There’s nothing “cute” about arthritis,a comment that never should have been even thought of, nevermind verbalized. The hard work paid off and there will always be conflicts. I think everyone had their heart in the right place in helping you reach your goal.
May 7th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
Hi Jill, did you change your hair color for a little while to a lighter blonder red or are the pictures floating around just off? Just curious.
May 7th, 2009 at 1:06 pm
My dear Jill,
OMG it sounds like you are saying goodbye and I just about can’t stand it. You are such a beautiful caring person and you brought your Mother into my life. She has helped me with her advice and has given me the courage to keep trying. Much thanks about the advice on Still’s disease and I am going to do some extensive research on it. I have been diagnosed with RA, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, congestive heart failure, spinal stenosis and Degenerative Joint disease. I have been on more medications than carter has liver pills. After watching your video I really think that I might have Still’s disease. Jill, please whatever you do please don’t leave the show. The only way we could stand it is if you get your own show. They have so many realhousewives shows now that we will never get to see season 3. They need to stop with the first three they came out with so that we can keep up with them. Can we write to Bravo and tell them what we think? Your daughter is so precious and such a beautiful child and I know that you are as proud as punch. If you are going to leave the show please let your fans know because we all love you so much.
Take care of yourself and your family and thank you for sharing them with us.
Love you Jill,
Victoria

Jill,
This is more for Ally but as a mother of a teenage daughter I think it is prudent to go through you. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at age 17 and I am so glad you both have brought some attention to this debilitating and excrutiatingly painful disease. As I am sure you well know, there are so many trials to go through before finding a medication that gives some relief. Again, thank you for your honesty and not trying to hide this from the viewers. We are all praying for Ally and all who suffer from this.
I watch the show with my 15-year-old daughter and we LOVE it!
Continued success,
SA

Jill it sounds as though your not sure your doing another season???? I hope that is not true! There would be no reason to watch the show without you! YOU Make that show!!! Adore the little sneak peak we get into the life you live! You are a wonderful role model. By the way Alley looke beautiful on the last episode!
May 6th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
Jill - I got hooked on the show just a few weeks ago, and thank God for TiVo! Must be so hard being miked up and “live” while continuing on with your daily lives. Thanks for letting us peak into your world - it has been fun to see the parallels with your friends, and my group of friends that do charity events as well. I organize a large bunco fund raiser to raise money for those that need help with mammogram costs in Idaho. Early detection saves lives. “No Woman Goes Unscreened”. Check out out website! Thanks Bravo and all the cast and crew!
May 6th, 2009 at 7:58 pm
Jill - you & Bethenny have really been a bright spot on TV for me! I have so enjoyed watching you both and envy the fun you have together! How lucky all of your friends are to have you in their lives. I also was very touched by the episode where your mother “adopted” Bethenny. My family situation is similar to Bethenny’s and hearing your mother speak to her and say all of the things that I would love to hear from someone really brought tears to my eyes.
You make me want to come to NYC!
Much love and appreciation for the laughs you’ve brought me! You are a wonderful mixture of reality, honesty and fabulous.

Jill,
In this crazy world we live in, you are truly a breath of fresh air. There is not a mean bone in your body.
It is refreshing to watch someone on television who really is real!

I love the show, I don’t love all the housewives-you and Bethany are my favorites. I want to thank you for opening up your lives to Bravo-It is my guilty pleasure, I even got my hubby hooked. You and Bethany do the one thing we all need to do LAUGH!! you gals have the best time. I want to tell you that you daughter is elegant and a great role model for young girls, she is going to do great things. I think it is really wonderful that you do so much charity work-you seem truly passionate about it. You have a great big heart. I am going to miss you ladies every tuesday night. Hope to see you next season. Have a geat summer at the Hamptons (I am so jealous!!!!!)
May 6th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
jill, i love you. you are my fave housewife. with all this economic bullshit, people like me are losing our jobs all over america, you are the only one(besides bethenny and the countess) who seems to be part of the real world. Yes, watching the show is like soap opera, a way to forget our pain for an hour, but you are real to me. i believe you DO care about the less fortunate, and it comes through on every episode.thanks, i mean it, thanks alot, your mom rocks too, so we can see where your love and compassion for the world comes from, peace, from jill in michigan.

Hello Jill,
I hope this message finds you well! I called Zarin Fabrics today looking for you and your husband. I then tried to send an e-mail, but had to forward it to David Zarin. I was hoping I could arrange some time to meet you and your husband to discuss a business opportunity. I recently started my cosmetic licensing company. I have been able to get 6 - 7 licenses ready to be negotiated. I have retailers anxious to get this product. My problem is that while I have been searching for investors I have wasted critical time with unethical individuals and companies. I am looking now for successful and ethical private investors. I thought you and your husband may be interested in hearing my presentation. If you would like to learn more please take a look at my website at http://www.dragonflyllc.com. I can also get you my executive summary and/or business plan. If you are not interested, do you possibly know someone that may be interested.
Please feel free to contact me at any time via e-mail or phone at 516-456-4110. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Jen Trainor

Jill, Love ya.
I guess you are sick of hearing this. From one Long Island girl to another..never lose that accent. I live in CT now and I miss Long Island.
You are absolutly the best on the show,I love how you have taken Bethany under your wing. Beth reminds me of my younger sister. It is refreashing to know your compasion. Please always stay the same in the up coming episodes. I also want to say..You rock as a Mom and you can see that you actually love your husband.PS…I can’t stand how the others talk behind all of the others backs. You have never done that.Keep rocking babe!

Thanks for a great season, hopefully we will see you next season.

Jill you are adorable, at times you seem so much younger than your 45 years (not to say 45 isn’t young!) You are doing some terrific things with your life and that’s all good Karma .. And a little Jewish guilt is also good, it keeps us from deviating too far from our true principals.
I hope you and your lovely Bobby and darling Ally will have a wonderful summer in the Hamptons.. can’t wait to see what happens.
May 6th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
What a great end to a great show!! I hope there will be more nyc housewives in the future. I just looked at the previews for the reunion WOW!! there are some tense moments. How mean Romona can be I think she makes judgements to swiftly I do think she is jelous of you and Bethany’s relationship and Romona says whatever she desires and that hurts people. I have a motherinlaw like that needless to say I do not enjoy being around her. All my best Jill you are an insperational person ! Love Cheryl
May 6th, 2009 at 3:29 pm

Hi Jill, I just watched the Still’s disease video My son has Crohn’s disease, which is a relative of RA and perhaps Stills. He was diagnosed at 10. He was on Remicade, pills, etc. and is now being treated at the Cleveland Clinic. He is taking Humira, which we get monthly, and also is refrigerated. I too, always want “extra”, and worry about not having it in an emergency. Crohn’s can be very serious, and unfortunately, my son became ill while away at college, and had to transfer close to home. He gets the injections of Humira weekly, and they are painful… so far so good. Some people get reactions to the meds, and this is our last hope. He may need a permanent ostomy in the near future, but mentally, we try not to think about it. I was hoping that the Crohns and Colitis foundation could be one of the charities that receives your “donation” from the weekly chats. Anyway, Humira is also used for RA, and was initially used for that before it began being used for crohns. On a lighter note, loved the show, and will miss all of you, but suspect that there will be a next season. Best to you, Sherri

What a great season and show! NYC housewives are my faves…especially Jill and Bethenny. I bought B’s book and have made some of the recipes. Look forward to a book from Jill and fam. I would love to see some decorating tips. My idea of decorating is to throw up some pics of the family and strategically placed candles. Oh, and a couple of “home interior groupings”. Jill and Brad…please help!
May 6th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
You’re great. Is your daughters father Shapiro,Robert? None of my buisness really , just curious. Anywho…you go girl, funny, smart, and hot as well. “Team Jill”!!! You girls should come check out Alaska, I got the hook ups on the fishing adventure….amazing with “Real Native Housewives ” of Alaska…I’m onto something there ,do tell!
May 6th, 2009 at 2:12 pm
Jill - I just love the show. You and Bethenny are incredible women. Kelly is kind of scary - I can appreciate Bethenny’s apprehension. Being from the South we call women like her nutbuckets. You and Bethenny have such a special friendship and you are both very lucky to have each other - you are warm and caring women. I look forward to the new season.
Best wishes

I just want to thank for inspiring me to give back. I have been working
on a project for over a year with Maria Shriver’s office. For her to
come and speak to our youth about giving of yourself and back to the
community. now days everyone thinks community service is a punishment.
One day in March of 2008, I received a phone call from my girlfriend
telling me that the high school was on lock down and my son was
in police protection. The school received a text message saying that
a student named Anthony was going to be shot. My sons’ name is Anthony.
The school pulled all students with the name Anthony and put them in
police protection. From that day I have been on a crusade for our
children to be more compassionate to each other and to get off the
myspace, facebook and texting ….. work together. Anyway I had everything in place with Maria Shrivers’ office and to set the dates
but to be declined due to her daughter’s graduation and personal dates
in May we could not get the assembly at the High school. Sooooo
you are a great speaker and love charity work, just great role model
for the kids. I am working on putting together a group of women
who every month work on a charity/ helping someone. The first charity
event I would like to do is… my birthday bash/charity event for
teachers help them get books and school supplies. The theme is
“A Girls Night Out with the Real Housewives” Can you help me, give me
some advice and maybe a video speaking to our group…I would love for
you to join us but in we are in California. Please help me get started
on my dream to get our youth and community in doing charity for others.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely

Thank you Jill for a wonderful season on NY Housewives. It’s been fun getting to know you and your wonderful family these past two seasons. I hope you come back next year, I’ll miss seeing you girls. You are all very special in different ways, however, make no bones about it, you and Bethenny are my favorites! Looking forward to the Reunion Show. Have a wonderful summer.
May 6th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
Jill - What a great job you all did! It was great to see the planning from the beginning to the actual event.
I am a teacher and of course our PTSA does a yearly fundraiser called the Chili Cook Off. Each homeroom does a theme basket, so whatever chances are sold for that basket, the class gets the money. Granted, we will never see the kind of money you can raise, but you gave me some good ideas for next year’s basket and the events.
Keep up the good work!
May 6th, 2009 at 11:16 am
It sounds like you are saying goodbye to bravo….Please let me know if you are having another season PLEASE PLEASE respond.
May 6th, 2009 at 11:14 am
Jill,
You are an inspiration to all women. The show wouldn’t be the same without all of your family. I think I watched the show so much because of you. Don’t let anyone say you don’t work - you do so much for charity and it’s so good to see someone give back as you do.
Ally is so beautiful inside and out - I know you are so proud to be her mother. I loved the “talk” epidsode - ya’ll were so cute. You can tell she loves you and respects you. I loved what you told her about not judging her about anything - you will be there for advice only - I know that’s hard to do. Glad you said it.
Bobby - what a great guy. He appears so easy going and I know he loves you so.
Your Mom & Dad are so cute - I know you don’t like being so far away from them. Glad they are with you now….
Please do another season. You and Bethenny are the best to watch.

Like me, I’m sure fans agree, it’s been our pleasure and we Thank-You for making us smile & keeping us entertained every Tuesday. I for one, look forward to “Season 3″! Take care, Jill!

Hi Jill: I want you to know that I haved continued to watch the show for you, I admire you as a human being. You are such a good person with good values, at the end of the day underneath all the glamour you are so simple and true at heart. So many can learn from you, starting with Ramona. I wish you the best always!
May 6th, 2009 at 10:37 am
Dear Jill, Thank you for talking about Stills, i looked it up on the mayo clinic website its sounds like what my own son has suffered he had a heart attack at 23, then diabetes, now he spikes fevers and get rashes the doctors dont know what hes got oh and also his liver and spleen are inflammed they only are treating the pain he being seen by Doctos at Loma Linda hospital now we can ask them to look into this disease. Thank You Brenda Barton
May 6th, 2009 at 10:24 am
Jill,
It was a great season, but way, way too short (come on Bravo, give us more). Thanks for letting us into your life. I really love how passionate you are about raising money your charities, it’s very inspiring. $140K for Creaky Joints? That’s awesome, congrats! Also awesome about Ally’s lobbying - she’s amazing and I’m sure you as SO proud. I hope my daughters grow into lovely ladies like Ally. Keep your fans posted on your charities and how we can help… we’re out-here! -Carol (P.S. LOVED your dress on the finale)
May 6th, 2009 at 10:02 am
Jill, I’m a huge fan of the show, and I understand the need for TV drama. However, as a professional event manager and sponsorship specialist, your conflicts with Bethany and Ramono could have been avoided. Sponsorship benefits should be predetermined when you plan a fund raiser, and they are key to fund raising. Bethany did the right thing with the signage behind the bar. Ramona, however, doesn’t know anything about special event fund raising. Although you were successful and raised a respected amount of money, I found the show insulting to the profession of event management and fund raising.
Good luck in the future with your charity work, and if you need an event manager that knows what she is doing, you know who to call.

is this the last season for nyc
