I am happy to say that out first STARchat party was a huge success last night. Lots of you came and I hope you will tell me what you thought here today. I didn’t promote it too much since I wanted to make sure it worked. We will be sending out a potential schedule for the next 2 weeks and want your feedback and if and when you want to chat with me again. To Jenn: Are you completely mad? With your financial status you would spend thousands on a wedding? That is a very bad idea.
Get your priorities straight: get married in City Hall and throw yourself a big anniversary party in five or ten years when you may have the money- Sounds like you’re asking Jill to foot the bill for your fantasy and that is not nice and pretty nervy of you. And by the way, join the club- millions are without financial wherewithal these days,read the papers, millions, and they have families to support.

Please tell me that the preview (where you and Bethenny are fighting and both of you look near tears) ends well. I love the alliance between the two of you. This is in response to someone named cherly from a comment..Kelly brings out the worst in everyone…she is nuts!! who, in there right mind, could have a relationship with that chick? I would run for the hills. Kelly is by far the most out of touch person on that show, she is shallow and her actions are random…she has nothing in common with these women, especially Jill and Bethany, and lets hope the queen ooopss I meant the “contessa” starts to see the light with that as well. SHALLOW …it sums it up!

In defense of what someone said about Bethany in a comment, she is a very good person who I believe is really a very good friend to Jill as well from what I have read and heard from them on tv shows ect.. And on another note, I know for a fact that when discussing the charity event on the roof top apt. of Jills friends house it was , for a fact, mention that there would be signage and that bethany would make the signiture cocktail for that night and even bartned, it is on film! go back and watch that episode. that crap was started by Ramona who cannot seem to go a day without starting something, especially if its going to get in between Jill and Bethany becasue she is jealous. It was so rediculous and I really felt bad for Bethany because I believe that she would never do anything to hurt Jill or Bobby.

What is wrong with Kelly can you say “out to lunch” She is very Patronizing , Which is defensive to Bethany. I think Kelly brings something out in Bethany;s past a feeling that she just can’t get a grasp of some people just do not get along I hope another so called meeting of the minds is not initiated between Kelly and Bethany That’s what makes the world go round not everyone is going to laugh together talk together. It makes us realize our differences in each other which is a gift from up above;0) Love the show You are a great mom.

Jill - you are fast becoming a role model for me. I really love how you can dedicate so much of yourself to philanthropy and helping others. I am trying to build my own foundation and scholarship fund and it is proving to be more work than I can handle by myself at the moment, as my paying job demands more of my attention. But I just keep plugging away at it as best I can and in doing so, make more connections and find more people who are interested in helping me achieve my mission. It will get there. The more I watch Housewives and see what a non-stop, energetic spirit you are, I become more inspired to keep moving. I hope you continue to do what you do, and I look forward to seeing more! Jill, this is my first time writing to you.. But I have not missed an episode. I have to tell you.. I love watching the show. What I love about you is how they show you actually working. I know that you get a lot of flack in these times for having money.. But, if you work hard why shouldn’t their be a big payout? My life is complete opposite of yours.. My family and I don’t have money.. But, we still love life and after all isnt that what its all about.. Just had to say your great and I wish you and your family all the best!

I also forgot to include in my previous comment that I have arthritus in my back and also degenerative disc disease. I know that your daughter has arthritus and you have done fund raisers for Arthritus foundations, that’s why I was asking you if you could help me. I know it’s a fund raiser for a wedding, but I really don’t know what else to do.

First of all - I wanted to say I am a HUGE fan of the show. I absolutely love you and your family. I can’t get enough. =)
This is a very odd request and I wish I could email you it because it’s kind of creepy for me to ask this in a comment. I really don’t know who else to reach out to. I’ll ask the question first and then I’ll give you my story. I was wondering if you could run some kind of fund raiser for my fiance and I to have a wedding and for me to reunite with my family and friends. We are both 25 years old and cannot afford to throw ourselves a wedding. My family lives in NJ (his damily lives in SC near us) and I moved to SC a little over a year ago (to be with him) and I never get to see my family. I have seen them 4 days in the past year. My family cannot afford to travel here either. We REALLY want a wedding, but truly cannot afford it. I have been laid off twice in the past year and now I cannot find work. My fiance has a job and is actually starting up a second job for us to have some extra income. I am not saying we are poor and helpless, we definitely can survive on his income, but it’s tight and there is no money for a wedding. I desperately need some help and I’ve tried reaching out to a few “wedding shows” but no luck. The dream of a wedding and seeing my family and friends is looking bleek for us. Please Jill, can you see what you can do?? ANY help would be GREAT.

Jill, watch out for Bethenney. She is a tough, tough lady who grew up very differently than yourself. She is a survivor and will do whatever it takes to get to the top. By sitting through all of the charity event meetings not saying one word about the signs, and then doing what she did makes her a very untrustworthy individual. She is capable of anything and I think even Gloria would agree with that statement. Be careful. You have a heart of gold and she knows it.

Jill- I don’t know what happens next week, but in re: to the Bethanny/Kelly drama, do you feel any differently about all of it now that you have seen first hand how demented Kelly is with Bethanny? She says something one week and then either completely denies it the next, or turns it around and says that Bethanny is the one who did it. I think she’s seriously insane, and I feel bad for Bethanny because I think at the time when she told everyone what happened, people didn’t believe Kelly could actually be that horrible.
Her children are very sweet- but I feel bad for them if she handles things with them the way she handles Bethanny. It would be very confusing for a child to live with that.
Bethanny will find someone when she’s really ready. Right now is not the time.

Jill: Many of my observations mirror your fans (especially “M”, linda, katrina…) which is probably why we are gravitating to your site. Of all the ‘housewives’, Bethany and you are by far my favorites…you two appear to be the most grounded and real personalities. I was prompted to write tonight after viewing the most recent episode, when you tried to get Bethany & Kelly to work things out. Some things are better left alone. Kelly is really not worth Bethany’s time. I can’t believe how calm Bethany was while having the conversation (albeit one-sided, since Kelly really didn’t have a clue and was having her own conversation). Hopefully, Kelly reads these blogs and will seek help. She appears to be very self-centered; more so than the average person. If she watches these shows, does she not SEE? Over the years, I have observed major flaws in others and recognized them as flaws I also possessed. So I worked hard to eliminate or overcome them. First step is ‘recognizing’ the flaw, Kelly. Look in the mirror. Not a pretty sight. I’d be embarrassed to view myself on tv if I were Kelly.

I love the StarCam idea. The audio feed was cutting in and out so on both questions you answered I only caught part of your answer which is a shame. But I still love the idea of the whole video chat idea.
It is hard to watch the show and pay attention to you, though. Maybe pushing it an hour back would help.

Oops, Sorry! Anyhow, I can appreciate you trying to patch things up between Bethenny and Kelly. Perhaps, those two just are not meant to be friends. Not everyone is. I’m not looking forward to next week’s episode because it will be the finale and I’m not ready for the show to end the season yet! We’ll have to wait months for the new season. It’s sad watching Kelly. Either she has a drug problem or she has a pretty significant narcissistic personality disorder. Or is this what happens when one has relied upon their good looks for so long that they are unable to function in the real world once those looks fade. There just doesn’t seem to be anyone inside. Sad.
Betheny’s hard-won rise from obscurity and financial difficulty is admirable. But when she was describing the insecurities and head-games of the “nerds” and how they over-compensate once success finds them, she could have been describing herself.
Strangely, Kelly and Betheny share deep insecurities. Kelly copes by denying the reality of her failed life and lives in an alternate universe of her own making; Betheny copes by putting her business/financial success first and when feeling threatened, by striking out with her cutting humor as she has done with clueless Kelly…keeping the world at a safe distance. This is why marriage is probably unlikely for her. She distrusts the world. A sad gift from her parents.
Not surprising then that she plastered her signage all over your charity event without first consulting you. She just acts out of her insecurity and fear, which leaves little room for true relationship or friendship. Some day she will hopefully realize this and make the right adjustments.
Kelly though needs some serious long-term therapy.

I only caught part of the show last night. You and Bethanny are by far my faves. I do not understand why Bethanny would bother to talk to Kelly. She is an insipid, self centered ,bore. Everytime she opens her mouth she confirms how stupid she is….AND..she is not nice. I think Bethanny should move on, who cares what Kelly thinks. I would like to say, that I don’t think Bethanny needs to tell a guy that she is a “ball buster”..I think that info is on a “need to know” basis. Why show up looking gorgeous and say something like that??? Sabotage perhaps?

I’m hoping that everything has cleared up between you and Bethenny, by now. We viewers realize these episodes have been taped months ago and alot has changed since then. Anyway, this show is partly based on friendship. It seems you and Bethenny have much respect and great admiration for each other. Hopefully, that has not changed. Loved the show last night, finally got to see a hairdresser, have been asking you who colors your hair, but have never gotten any response, love the color.
I’m thinking that Kelly is a bit Bipolar, doesn’t she ever get to see what she said to Bethenny? What a wacko. This season the Vankempen’s are a bit more real and caring, but what gives with the red walls?

I wasted my credits on the first night you tried it and it was a complete failure. I totally agree that the money is for charity but I still cannot afford to pay…. Oh Jill I was too busy with my goat babies. I watched the show on my DVR late last night.
I may cry when you and Bethenny fight! Watching Bethenny and Kelly try to work it out was like watching a Frenchman and a Spaniard both trying to understand the other language. That being said I was as confused by Kelly as Bethenny was.
My big city escape is over, I do have many dirty goat baby pix up!
