‘Real Housewives’ smackdown: Caroline Manzo, Teresa Giudice vs. Jill Zarin, Alex McCord -.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” with its copious “bubbie” talk, conspicuous consumption and of course, the table-flipping, had it all over their Manhattan counterparts.
But the Garden State grand dames will go head-to-head with the Gotham gentlewomen at “Dishing & Debates,” a special evening at NJ’s BergenPAC featuring no-holds-barred discussion between Caroline Manzo and the extreme furniture wrestler herself, Teresa Giudice, and the “Real Housewives of New York” stars Jill Zarin and Alex McCord. It’s the 21st century equivalent to the Lincoln-Douglas debates, except instead of slavery, they’ll discuss shopping, breast implants and lip gloss.
Manzo and Giudice will have the home-court advantage, not that they need it! And Zarin and McCord can be comforted by the fact that Englewood Hospital in only a few blocks away.

Honestly,
Danielle loves to victimize herself, usually when drama follows someone it is for a reason. She is pretentious, fake, and loves to be the center of attention. Danielle complained about her “money situation” early in the season but lives in a huge house, seriously, you need to live beneath your means and stop looking for sugar daddies. Work for your own money that way you can actually call it “yours.”
I love Jill, she tells it like it is, she doesn’t break a sweat when times get rough, and she is an expert in the art of networking. If I didnt live in florida I would stalk her

okay vicki,
just read your comment and you clearly do not understand the severity of what danielle did for caroline to react the way she did. to refresh your memory: danielle called dina’s ex-husband to ‘help’ him get custody of lexi. keep in mind, this is the same woman who VOLUNTEERED to discipline ashley (jacqueline’s daugther) for not alerting her mom about the amount of people she invited to cj’s party. correct me if im wrong, but i believe she is putting her nose into other peoples’ business. also, if you read jacqueline’s blog, danielle threatened to “taker her down” because of the critique mrs. laurita gave of danielle in interviews for the show. so what you’re telling me is that it’s okay to “take down” a pregnant woman? caroline is the MATRIARCH of the family. much like alot of families in america, she angers and cries over injustices done to her family. do i think she did anything wrong for being angry? no. i just find it ridiculous that people can dictate how other people “should” react when drama happens.
okay, so you mention that everyone deserves a second chance. please go on http://www.thesmokinggun.com and read the court papers that document everything danielle did. keep in mind that it’s been verified that she was involved in escorting, stripping, extortion, drugs, not to mention that she plea bargain and ratted out members of the colombian cartel. it’s also been documented that she currently gets calls from unknown parties that are stalking her. keep in mind that this isn’t petty theft or a simple check bouncing. what she was involved in does not go away. she compromised the safety of her children by appearing on the show and just thinking of herself. also, she’s very cavalier about her sexual conquests. so the question stands: “would you like this kind of person with you and your family?” if you said “yes”, i don’t know what to think.
on a different note, i like that the nj & nyc housewives are doing this event. always love jill & caroline. alex really shined this season. love teresa — cutest kids on tv!

I thought everyone made a hugh ” nothing ” out of Danielle’s book at the restaurant. Sure it was a big deal back in it’s day, BUT, good night guys, let us move on. If Danielle had tried to talk to everyone before that dinner, and no-one would take her up on it, then that was a good place. I might have waited until later, I don’t know.
Everyone deserves a second chance, and Caroline blowing up like she did at the reunion by saying, ” you know what you did ” and pointed a finger to Danielle, was a little over dramatic as usual. Danielle explained on her blog what she did, and it was nothing serious to warrant that reaction. If the other girls can get over it, Caroline can.
I love watching Alex interacting with people. She really thinks things over before she speaks, and is clearly the smartest of the group. I love Jill also ( only these two ) and she riled up more easily. I would give anything to live near there, to attend that, but alas, I don’t, and cannot afford to. So I will whine and whine to my husband. LOL.
Love you Jill and Alex

Danielle was not the star of the show, Danielle was the one that caused the most drama so she could get the most tv time. I honestly could not stand watching all her drama. I loved all the other ladies. Caroline definitly brought a lot to the table. I think the reason New Jersey was so popular is because they were so relatable (except for danielle) to the viewers. Im so tired of hearing about Danielle.

i dont think that danielle was the star of the show… i think that bravo threw in danielle as a “monkey wrench” to skew what was supposed to be a friendship amongst all five women. how they reacted is what bravo saw as being good tv.
i happen to love caroline. like jill and jeana (oc), she’s the ‘mama’ of the show. the ladies had every right to be concerned towards someone with a SEVERELY checkered past; especially when it comes down to compromising the safety of your family. it’s understandable that you cannot always hold someone accountable for something that happened almost a quarter century ago, but the severity of the crimes involved is clearly the prerogative of the individual to accept or decline it. do i think teresa is ‘trashy’? no, i don’t. she’s an introvert that exploded with pent up frustration and anger. for anyone to pass judgement against these women is ridiculous, cynical and outright hypocritical. Like Jill always say: “Thou shall not throw stones in glass houses”, whenever she feels like she may have passed judgement on someone without realizing it.
Speaking of Jill, I happen to LOVE Jill. I think she’s an awesome woman. Great mother, great business woman, caring and very unselfish. When people make comments about her “hawking products”, it’s ridiculous. She would be stupid NOT to considering the medium she is in. Overall, I get offended when people judge Jill. To me? She can do no wrong. She’s human.
Lastly, whenever you feel the need to call someone “trashy” or “low class”, look at yourself and ask if you are the epitome of the very terms you are judging people on. Leave the Jersey women alone. They did nothing to you.

To The Housewives of N.J.
Why did you all allow so much of your time and thought be controled by Dannielle? It seems that in mostly every show, she was the focus of everyone’s discussion.
Thank you for your answer,
Katherine from North Carolina
