New York vs. New Jersey: Housewives catfight - Life and Style

Filming is on hold for the 11 women who make up the casts of The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of New Jersey — but the drama is wilder than ever anyway. Behind the scenes, the New Yorkers haven’t missed a chance to take a potshot at their New Jersey rivals, whose table-flipping finale drew a record 4.6 million viewers to the Bravo network. Not that the New York City housewives are jealous. “I think it was just a lot of theatrics,” Countess LuAnn de Lesseps sniffed when Life & Style asked for her opinion of New Jersey’s first season. “They created quite a spectacle.” The two casts, she adds, can hardly be compared. “We’re completely different,” she tells Life & Style. “We live in two completely different worlds.”

Those worlds are set to collide off camera this fall. New Yorkers Jill Zarin and Alex McCord will cross the Hudson River to confront Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice on their New Jersey home turf during a no-holds-barred debate at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, N.J. But who would win if it came to a real fight?

Jill, I really enjoy watching you on tv. I like the fact that you are honest, stylish, smart and a good example. You are a bit more moral and real and much easier to connect with you than the others.

I have to say it kinda bothers me that the some of the NYC Ladies speak so nasty,( the other Housewives do not, at least not in print) against the NJ ladies. I read the article in Life and Style, and Lulu, and Bethenny were pretty rough, not so nice. They do not have to like them that is for sure but they do not have to be so ” smell me” about them. All the Housewive Shows are good I think. I happen to love NYC the best, and of course Jill Zarin is my favorite

  3. ASHLEY Says:

no worries jill, your show is so much classier than theirs.

  4. Stephanie Says:

At least the women from NYC have there orginal faces. I take the side of the NYC women. Love ya jill

  5. Maureen Says:

Ok Jill, you’re cuter. That’s why you posted that picture of Danielle next to yours, right?

Argh-my eyes, my eyes! Why did they include her picture (and a bad one at that!) when she isn’t part of the debate? I wish she didn’t disgust me so much. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.
