Happy Memorial Days everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful day full of sun, food and fun with family and friends. I know we did. We had a busy weekend. We went to parties, beach house luncheons and made meals at home. I love when the family comes and all the kids wake me up in the morning. It is so important for Ally to spend time with her cousins and step siblings. We got lucky with the weather but unfortunately the pool heater was broken and everyone froze to death. Bobby took out the ball machine and we all hit tennis balls together. We just came home and are getting ready to watch the NJ tape so I can blog for tomorrow night. I can’t wait! Don’t forget to check out my blog on bravotv.com.
Love, jill

Jill,,once again you show what a Lady you are with your blog about NJ Housewives. One can only hope they take your advice. Doubt it.
    Kathi
ps,,,maybe you could get Caroline to do some investigating on Kelly Ramona or Simon,,Id bet there is some skeletons hiding there. But then,,you ladies look like a basket of kittens compared to the NJ wives.

Hey Jill, I just wanted to say you look great! G I R L! You lost some weight….
After you watch the House Wife’s from NJ, believe me our whole State is nothing but drama!!!
The only thing us women from NJ have to say about the show after watching it,is that it is only a hand full of NJ woman (up North NJ) who live like that. They need to come to my home town of Moorestown, NJ, (South) set up a camera and see how real house wife’s of NJ live. It just seems like we are watching the Soprano’s.
So I have to admit that I like the H.W. Of New York better. You woman have the The “Big City” and all the excitment the City can bring. So for myself who has never been to New York City I love your show. It was like one hour a week that I could wish I had that life.
So if Bravo ever has a contest to “spend the day with a NY House Wife, I will be the first one to sign up, LOL!
Take Care and have a great summer!

Okay, I saw RHONJ last night and, yikes, that Danielle is on three wrong tracks with her: 1,quest for the (wrong) man, 2,with her obsession with the Manzo women and 3, with her kids.. How beautiful are her daughters? and how misguided is she, talking the way she does about men in front of her kids? And, not that her 14 year old - and her daughter’s friends- wouldn’t see her on TV anyway!

I am sorry, on the other ‘gorilla in the room”: I get the whole Italian thing and I’m over it. I was raised with it myself and progress among Italian Americans, especially those with financial wherewithal, is important to me; I come from an accomplished family and this is disturbing to watch. I’m looking at these people and wondering why Caroline’s son is the first college graduate among them?

Bravo has tapped into too many sterotypes here to make me comfortable plus, anyone can OD on all the big family thing. in fact, I read one funny thing on a blog where a viewer said she was waiting for the episode where Theresa turns over the table and then she’s “signing out”. I laughed because I feel similarly with this group and like the OC franchise, I most likely will not be watching much longer either.

It is understandable that Bravo has to walk a fine line between good taste and drama and that hopefully lies with the right choices in women for these franchises..I concede that is not easy to do. At the end of the day, I think the NJ group (overall) is done in pretty bad taste.

Hi Jill…..so glad I found your site….I totally miss my NY ladies……however, the NJ chicks are CRAZY!! It’s kind of like watching a trainwreck…you should turn a way …but you don’t!

Hi Jill, I can’t seem to get in to watching the n. j. housewives and I’m from N.J.I’m curious as to which of the N.Y. housewives you spend time with when the show is not on.I loved the reunion show and we should all give Luann a medal after the noaccount dumped her via E mail. I feel for her and her children.I hope Ally’s not in too much pain and you all enjoy the summer.

Hi Jill! We missed you in chat tonight. Brad & Jeri were hysterical. Brad couldn’t remember how he’s listed on Twitter (he gave us his Facebook name by mistake) so I was hoping you can provide it.

Hope you had a great time in Vegas.

    Hi Jill,

Is there a chance that you will be showing pics of Bethenny’s renovated apartment soon? I’m sooo looking forward to seeing the them!

    Have a great summer!!

  8. Joyce from LA Says:

Jill, I am jealous, I prefer the Hamptons over LA and our beaches any day. Sounds like you had a great weekend though.. are they filming you there this Summer?

By the way, I saw Norma Kamali, one of my favorite designers, on Bravo’s Fashion Show.. Honestly, she could be Gloria’s twin!
