Last night in New York City there were tons of parties to choose from. We started early at 6PM and went to Catherine Malendrino’s store in the MeatPacking District for Luann’s book party. Lots of press and people mingling and a few housewives for support. Bethenny, Alex and I were there for support. At 6:40 we leaded over to Capitale, (with Wayne driving of course!) and took Ally to Operation Smile. I met the new cast of Gotham Prep coming to Bravo in June. Their lives will forever be changed that is for sure. Will it be in a good way? Only time with tell. Mya was there and we were seated with her and her manager Mike Killmon who is a sweetheart. She is lucky to have him take care of her. I visited with few friends whose children were in the fashion show and then left Allyson there with her friends. Bobby and I (Wayne in tow) ran out to our final destination at 8:15PM Cipriani Midtown. We were invited to sit with my sister Lisa Wexler (livewithlisaradio.com) and family and our cousins Marnie and Dr. Dave at the Jeffrey Modell Annual Foundation dinner. Lisa and Vicki are friends and Lisa is now very active in the foundations good work. Jeffrey Modell passed away at the young age of 15 from auto immune difficiency disease. It was his last wish to have his parents never let another child or family suffer the way they did 22 years ago. Vicki and Fred Modell are roles models for anyone living a charitable life. They have dedicated their life to this and announced last night that they now have 58 Jeffrey Modell Clinics around the world. Vicki helped me find help when Allyson was diagnosed with Arthritis and for that I will be forever grateful. They can always count of us for support.

Jill, you are one classy lady, and I have such respect for you….I just caught the tail end of the show the other night where you were ordering Bethany to leave….I am not sure what this was all about, but I pray it wasn’t over that idiot Kelly….she needs to be on medication, worse than anyone I have ever known in my lifetime….She is off her rocker, and as far as I am concerned, Bethany has my vote….she is an independent spirit, and sometimes comes out with sarcasm, but she is also one classy lady and I think that the thing with her and Kelly is much more Kelly’s problem than Bethany’s….I think that you should call a meeting and have you and LuAnn (Countess) monitor things, and see what might come of it….I give you and LuAnn my votes, when it comes to integrity and class…..Love your shows….Alana

Jill, I am sure you are wise enough to know to go through charities that help people like those hurt by Enron, rather then believing internet letters of Enron, cancer, black mold, death etc. Enron was in the middle of the bustling city of Houston. Montgomery is 70 miles from there. That would be a very long drive from a farmhouse to a white collar job each day at Enron. With Houston traffic it must have been a 3 hour drive there and 3 hours back. And, since the land and farm have been in the family for generations, they are paid for…which means, this husband had no house payment for all those years he had the white collar job with millions in retirement at Enron…so one has to wonder where all the paychecks went in order to buy this story.
I will send money to the charities that help these people, but not directly…just like you helping out the charity of creaky joints rather than asking for money for just your daughter…there is a proper channel for charities for a reason.
ps you and bethenny are the BEST!
Im not sayin…I’m just sayin…

Jill,
You are really a classy lady! You definetly know which battle to choose and dealing with Mario and Ramona….very classy! (Pssst…are they crazy or what?)
At least you tried to help with the Bethenney and Kelly episode…
(Kelly really loves herself) If Kelly only knew how people were really seeing her….she would definetly change for the better!

OH PLEASE READ THIS ONE……..
To Jill and Bethany of “The Real Housewives”,
I truly hope with all my heart that all of The Real Housewives will read this.
I love all of the shows about The Real Housewives. I very seldom if ever miss an episode. My favorite is the one from New York. I love Jill and Bethany. I have noticed that all of you do so much charity work, and I really respect you for that.
In all of my almost 62 years of age I have never written to anyone famous or to any television shows, not even a newspaper. For some reason I felt it would be appropriate to do it now.
My husband and I are just pain country people that have worked hard all our lives and have helped people that are less fortunate than us.
My husband worked for one company for 28 years and we invested heavily in his 401k at this company. When he reached 52 years old he was laid off, which is what the company did so they could hire younger people to replace the older ones at a much lower pay scale. This company was ENRON. We left all of our retirement and 401K invested in Enron stock and well I guess you all have heard
What happened to the mighty Enron. The CEO and Founder, and their friends stole all the little people, like us, life savings. When my husband was laid off at the age of 52 it totally devastated him to the point that he never could find a full time job again. I continue to work, but we used our personal savings to make ends meet during this time, knowing that when we did reach retirement age we would be secure.
When my husband turned 65 Enron stock reached such a dollar amount for each share that we had a million dollars in our account. Boy we were elated. We began to make plans to build a new house on our property that had been in his family for generations. During this time my sister died of cancer, and my husband got cancer, so we postponed building our house and continued to live in our very modest old farm house. When we learned that Enron had declared bankruptcy we lost everything we had. Thank God we never started building our new house or we would have lost our property too. Now we are almost destitute. Our house needs so many repairs that we cannot afford to do. My daughter’s husband abandoned her and her three children and they have moved in with us. It is really unhealthy, for my husband with his illnesses and my grandkids to live in our house. It has black mold from the roof leaking and the floors are almost rotted through, my husband has acute Emphazema in its final stage and my kidneys are shutting down. They are functioning now at 30% and I am told they are shutting down very fast. This is not a death sentence by any means but it is very upsetting to me to think that I may not see my grandkids grow up.
All of the charities that you ladies sponsor are very good charities and I respect you all so much for the work you do. My thoughts are why not sponsor a charity for the older people that have lost their retirements and life savings to the greedy people of Enron. I know that if this has happened to us it has happened to other people that really need finical help.
Please consider this and get back with me if you have the time and are interested in developing an organization. I do work a full 40 hour, but I will do everything I can to help myself and thousands of others that really need help to pay rent, buy badly needed medications, and put food put on the table. I can tell you from experience IT IS SO HARD TO ASK STRANGERS FOR HELP, but it is better than losing your home, security and dignity. I have been there and done that.
Sincerely,
Glenda Johnson
