Jill's Blog

Happy Holiday everyone! Since I last wrote, my webmaster created a new Blog design. I was getting so much spam before I had to change it. I need feedback so PLEASE email me any ideas for my site you might have to improve it? I am new to this so I need all the help I can get! Also..go to facebook and you will see lots of pictures from the last few months. This takes up so much time doesn’t it? The most common question people ask me is did I watch the Atlanta show and if I did..what did I think. I loved it. In fact..I was watching the Bonnie Hunt show this morning and she did a skit as Lisa and a guest played Nene. I was laughing out loud! Also..go to bravotv.com and look at Bethenny Frankel’s website. You will die! She is beyond funny and I agree with almost everything she says.
Right now I am in Boca with Ally visiting my family. Bobby is coming here with his son, Jonathan, today. We leave for Aruba soon and Bethenny is coming with us! As you probably know already..we are like sisters..including the fights! ( of course she is the older one..just kidding). She was on the TODAY show today and I could not be more proud of her and how hard she works. If you missed any episodes..TIVO the series on January 3rd! BRAVO is running an all day marathon and in between, we did commercials for the new movie BRIDE WARS, starring Anne Hathanway and Kate Hudson. I haven’t seen it yet..but being it takes place at the PLAZA..I want to. I hear BRAVO will be announcing our scheduled premiere date soon ..so stay tuned and check back. I will be posting the press release when it comes out.

Jill, I went to Simmons, too, a few years ahead of you…..did you have a relative also attend named Susie? What dorm did you live in? Love you on the show…

  2. Toni Says:

I love the show! It is refreshing to see a strong confident woman on tv.
Best wishes to you and your family

So what’s wrong with being from Long Island, land of the rich and famous, country estates, beautiful towns and beaches? Growing up in the ’50’s & ’60’s in Port Washington alone we had neighbors like Perry Como, & Ed Herlihy. Port has been home to Derek Jeter & many other professional athletes, diplomats, politicians, and John Philip Sousa.

    Great folks—like YOU!

JILL!!! You are the best, and you and Bethany together have me glued to my set! I can’t wait to see what else happens this season. You have class to the umphth degree, lady — you handled Alex and Simon well, but I still think they are pretentious, social climbers. You all look fabulous, again. But tell me, why do you ladies hate on NJ?!? We’re not so bad, you know. Over here in central NJ, where Jackie O had her estate, and where Forbes has his,and where the Trump International Golf Club is, to mention a few places, is full of horses, money and even European titled folk (see, even the Countess could cross the bridge)!! NJ is not one giant airport/industry belt along the Turnpike! Love you ladies! NYC rules! OC is OK, and those other screaming things hurt my ears - can’t watch them!

As a fellow “New Yoka” I must say I think you are just fab. My favorite by far of all the NYC housewives I do love Bethany though. She says the funniest things. You two are a match made in Manhattan. I appreciate all the charity work that you do I think you should be very proud of yourself. Looking forward to the new season of the show!

Do you know what I love about having my own website? The control to post what I want and delete garbage. Sooooo I guess the lowlife family in ARUBA has been stalking me and decided to write in on my blog. HAH! It was so disgusting..I should print it out and give to the teachers in their children’s school and print in their local NEW JERSEY newspapers! This is their email..since they wrote to me, I guess they knew it would be made public.. kd1234@aol.com Jackson and Tamara at gucci356@aol.com. They completey confirmed what I said which is “he makes sure she has chairs for the whole day so her family doesn’t have to worry about getting them. She wakes up early every morning to make sure no one bothers her and she can enjoy her vacation”. EXACLY. Don’t you realize that is called being a “pig” and not sharing? Is that what you teach your children? Not to share with others? NONE of the family was ever there at the same time. EVER. Anyway…next year I will let the chair “police” deal with them. Of course if any of you are in ARUBA next New Years ( they said they go every year) ..you can NOT miss this woman. Too Tan…Too old to be in a bikini and children with a fresh mouth. Feel free to say hi for us!

Hey there i’m heading to LA in March. Since you travel alot and I like your style would love to know any information regarding must sees. Ex: restaurants and interesting places with people in their 40s and up.

    Thanks Toni

Hi Jill - I just had to write and say that FINALLY in Raleigh, NC we got the Bravo channel . I DVR’ed the first season of Housewives/NYC during your marathon and watched them all this weekend. I am hooked! I have seen several of the OC episodes (and a few of ATL) and the NYC group is by far the best. Even my husband, who doesn’t have a girly bone in his body, got in on it. We were cringing though at that dinner party at your house where Ramona went off on Alex and Simon. How uncomfortable…you looked like you could die. Looking forward to season 2. BTW, I’m heading to NYC soon for a girls weekend (shop, eat, drink, repeat). Are there any ‘can’t miss’ places you’d recommend?

  12. Debra Says:

Hope Boca was fun and that you’re enjoying Aruba. Watched the Rh of NYC marathon and fell in love with the ladies all over again.

Just now, watching DL Hughley on CNN and saw you at Syliva’s on election night. Obama!!!

Looking foward to the new season…OC and Atlanta just don’t compare.

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and wondrous ‘09.

    ~Debra

    JIll,

Was just watching the season wrap up and heard you say that your son was recently diagnosed with Stills disease. I don’t typically watch this show but I have always believed there are no coincidences in life. I am a 53 year old female who was diagnosed with Stills in January of 2005. I thought my life was over but 4 years later I am doing really well. My doctor calls me his miracle child. I take weekly enbrel shots and an oral chemo drug which has saved my life. I am very functional and hold down a very busy full time job. I just want to let you know that there is hope and tell your son that he can live a normal life and will feel better again, it just takes time and a really good doctor and I have one of the best. If there is any information that I can share with you about my experience, I would be happy to do so. Tell your son to keep a positive attitude and push through the fatigue, it will get better.

  14. Ed Says:

Hope you are having a good time in Boca. Try the Muvico Theater on Glades Road for a “Housewives” worthy experience. My wife and I are looking forward to a new season. Please buy Bethany a sandwich. She was too skinny on the today show. :-)

  15. Rachel Says:

I can’t wait for the new season! NYC is by far my favorite of the 3. I really thought that Atlanta would be; I felt that I’d relate more to them since they are from the south. In my opinion, they did not do us southern belles any justice. NYC is classier even if there is a little bit of drama :) Have fun and stay safe during all your travels!

    Jill,

are you the same Jill who went to Simmons College? If so, I do not know if you remember me, but we dated while I went to NYU School of Law. I would love to hear from you and catch up! And you look fantastic!!!
