Jill Zarin from Season 1 has been my favorite housewife. Bobby has alot of class and Allison has become a very beautiful young lady. Come back next season Jill…the show will never be the same if you are not there. Alex and Simon should not return…they are the least popular. Instead of proclaiming to have found her inner voice, she should take a hard look at how idiotic her husband comes across on the show. He thinks he is on the Real House husbands of NYC. Ramona is two faced to Jill. She should not return to the show so she can renew her product line. That’s right, who wants to buy a skin care line from someone who needs Botox and injections??? Love you Bobby and Jill…please return.

  2. HCG Side Effects Says:

That is quite intriguing. It provided me several ideas and I’ll be posting them on my website shortly. I’m bookmarking your site and I’ll be back. Thank you again!

  3. donna02 Says:

jill: stop apologizing. alex must go. she doesn’t channel the devil; she is the devil and she is sooooo jealous of your fame and fortune. ramona should be institutionalized; how can you even speak to her when all she does is backstab everyone; she’s the real enemy. another question is why would anyone buy her face cream; she has more restyline and juvader and botox that dr. brandt has in his offices. plus, she was the biggest whore before marrying; i know men that had “one night stands” with her so why is she now so pure? f-em all. you are a good soul, love your mom and your daughter is a gem. bobby is a good egg; be kind to him always. get rid of alex already, she’s still a wannabe but never will. bethanny’s show will never make it to next year; her voice alone will kill it plus she’s not interesting on her own.

    Hi Jill!

I never miss an episode of your show. You & Bethenney are my favorite!! You are beautiful, real, and your personality can not be matched. That combined with your great big giving heart… who could not like you?!

I admire all your charity work. Your daughter, Allyson, is a natural public speaker. She will be such an assett to any organization she aids. My fiancé is a physical therapist for the Association Tennis Professionals (ATP). Having treated every segment of the population from professional athletes to celebrities he has experience in the importance of combining physical therapy and exercise to maintain mobility and posture in people who suffer from arthritis. I’d be happy to pass along his contact info if you are interested? I’m sure he’d love to assist Ally, or one of your clubs or charities.

I look forward to watching the rest of NYC Housewives Reunion show!! I can’t wait to see part II! Thank you for being a great example to women everywhere. Bobby is great too!!

    Your biggest fan,

Jill, why did you choose Kelly as one to be voted off? I like the answer Kelly gave, that was a wise move on her part.As the saying goes.”What good for the goose is good for the gander”…You all need to work togather and stop acting like you all better than each other..It is a shame.A little drama is good sometimes but buoy it is too much back stabbing..At times someone say something let it slide, slow to answer,a soft words turneth away anger..Charity is LOVE..Doing charity for the eyes of man is not rewarding, for God it is..Love one another and the charity you are doing will be blessed..You are too confrontational, you all sound like bees.Makes my head hurt.I can understand why Kelly cannot take it..You all should be happy instead you all are miserable and still seeking..I can on;y recommend that the bible reading will help alot..

  7. Lisa Says:

You are such a hoot and I just want to thank you for the fact that every week I have watched the show and laughed my ass off, mostly when you are involved! I can’t wait to see the 2nd half of the “reunion” show…We have watched the first part several times just to catch everyone’s comments! Y’all are my guilty pleasure and cannot wait to see more. The boobs looke great! If you are ever in Kentucky let us know and I will cook for you and we can compare accents! Thank you for all the laughs! God knows more people need to do more of that. And what is up with Ramona!?!?! And Kelly!?!?!? Please write a book! It is your perspective that we want to hear!!!Thank you!

  8. Julie Says:

    Hello Jill,
I am a huge fan of the housewives shows; I have found that the NY cast is the best no nonsense cast. I’m intreaged by your life and think you have the best personality!! Being a Minnesota gal I am in awe of what NY lifestyle can offer. My husband and I love to visit the big apple someday.
I love the fact that you don’t mince words with people and with that I think people truly respect you.

Thank you again for letting us get a taste of what NY has to offer!

    Go team Jill!

    Julie

Janice McReynolds FYI Jill it looks like your new friend is talking about you interview By:Marc Malkin Most recently, fellow Housewife Jill Zarin complained to People magazine that Kelly failed to deliver on a charity donation.
Kelly’s ex-husband, celebrity photographer Gilles Bensimon, agreed to donate a photo shoot to the highest bidder at one of Jill’s benefits. Jill says she had to return the money because the shoot never happened.
“He’s a busy guy,” Kelly says. “And Jill wanted it on Jill time, like right now. I was like, ‘That’s great, but Gilles is busy and he will do it for you when he can do it.’ ” WOW ~ She really does live in her own world! Please tell me she will not be back or I’m gone! Jill Happy Mothers Day! Janice McReynolds

    • jill z Says:

Thank you Janice for pointing this out. I think 6 months is too long to hold someone’s money don’t you think? I was shocked to read that today. I never said a bad word about that situation with regards to her and just found out from charitybuzz.com that Giles said he never even knew the donation was given to us. He said he is happy to honor it but I think 6 months of “Jill time” is 5 months too long. Thanks for the good catch! JIll

  10. Diane Says:

Hi Jill, I love you and your husband. You keep it real for me, You say
what and how you feel. I loved the Tennis match! That was the best and
hats off to Simon… Ramona’s dislike for him has actually given him a boost!!! Stay true to your friendship with Bethenny, and watch Ramona!!! Bethenny is your girl, remember your Mother accepted Bethenny as one of her own. (smile) Keep New York hopping with your spirit! Love You

    Jill,

    Stay fabulous!

  12. Jules Says:

Hi Jill, I just wanted to let you know that I love your show and you! You are funny, intelligent, attractive, a bit spoiled but thankful for all that is good in your life. You are the most “real” housewife on the show and that is what makes you so enjoyeable to watch. I can’t wait for the finale…I’m sure it won’t let any of us down! Your dog is delicious and very cute and funny! In one episode you say goodbye to your daughter as she leaves for Paris. You said to her are you happy…are you thankful? I use that line with my kids as well. Reminding our kids to be thankful for all that they have is an important lesson we should all teach them. Too many kids today just “expect” and your reminding her to be thankful is what sold me on you. Keep smiling cause you have a fan in Jersey!

  13. Jazz628 Says:

I think that you are one smart, savvy woman. Your charity work is a great example for everyone. Why? Why? Why? did you allow Ramona to play you like a cheap fiddle before your charity event? When R saw that Bethenny had a professional, sassy marketing program; R was totally besides herself and realized that B would out shine her get more attention than her lame skin care product (do we really need another skin care product that comes with the recommendation of a plastic surgeon and makes your skin turn red?). B has developed a product niche; R is trying to promote a product in a category that is already flooded with options–far more reputable than hers. R has consistently stabbed (more like machete) you in the back throughout the season. Without fail, B has stood up for you for all to hear. If you go back and review the tape of you and B checking out the venue for your charity event, you’ll see that B discussed the space and you didn’t object. You lost it, girl!!
I realize that months have passed since this happened. You are a person who demonstrates good character traits and it was really sad and painful to see you go off the deep end with Bethenny. Sincerely hope that the two of you have mended any issues. True friends are rare.
Marona finds great humor in pushing your buttons. Jealousy is a powerful thing…it’s causing Marona and Kelly to implode! Don’t let them take you and Bethenny down with them.
If Mario insists on continuing to write his insidious blog (how pathetic) perhaps you should ask Ally to take a current picture of him to use. The fact that he uses a photo of himself when he was 21 is beyond ridiculous.
    Kudos for supporting the Countess.

  14. lorraine Says:

I have to say Jill you are so real. I am so hooked on the show. Out of all the woman (besides Bethenny)you are such a warm loving friend and family person. The countess should take some lesson on class from you. You don’t ever try to be anyone but yourself. I too count my blessings everyday and try to give back when ever I can. You seem to be enjoying this time in your life. Good for you. All the best to you and your family!
    Enjoy!!!!

  15. Christy Says:

    Hey, Jill,

We girls in Dallas are waiting for the Housewives of Texas!! :) I love your show…and the reality of it all. You are definitely a genuine person, and I admire that. Keep up the good work with all of your charities…and with being a great friend to everyone.

  17. GLENDA Johnson Says:

    PLEASE READ THI ONE

To Jill and Bethany of “The Real Housewives of Ney York City”,

I truly hope with all my heart that all of The Real Housewives will read this.

I love all of the shows about The Real Housewives. I very seldom if ever miss an episode. My favorite is the one from New York. I love Jill and Bethany. I have noticed that all of you do so much charity work, and I really respect you for that.

In all of my almost 62 years of age I have never written to anyone famous or to any television shows, not even a newspaper. For some reason I felt it would be appropriate to do it now.

My husband and I are just pain country people that have worked hard all our lives and have helped people that are less fortunate than us.

My husband worked for one company for 28 years and we invested heavily in his 401k at this company. When he reached 52 years old he was laid off, which is what the company did so they could hire younger people to replace the older ones at a much lower pay scale. This company was ENRON. We left all of our retirement and 401K invested in Enron stock and well I guess you all have heard
What happened to the mighty Enron. The CEO and Founder, and their friends stole all the little people, like us, life savings. When my husband was laid off at the age of 52 it totally devastated him to the point that he never could find a full time job again. I continue to work, but we used our personal savings to make ends meet during this time, knowing that when we did reach retirement age we would be secure.

When my husband turned 65 Enron stock reached such a dollar amount for each share that we had a million dollars in our account. Boy we were elated. We began to make plans to build a new house on our property that had been in his family for generations. During this time my sister died of cancer, and my husband got cancer, so we postponed building our house and continued to live in our very modest old farm house. When we learned that Enron had declared bankruptcy we lost everything we had. Thank God we never started building our new house or we would have lost our property too. Now we are almost destitute. Our house needs so many repairs that we cannot afford to do. My daughter’s husband abandoned her and her three children and they have moved in with us. It is really unhealthy, for my husband with his illnesses and my grandkids to live in our house. It has black mold from the roof leaking and the floors are almost rotted through, my husband has acute Emphazema in its final stage and my kidneys are shutting down. They are functioning now at 30% and I am told they are shutting down very fast. This is not a death sentence by any means but it is very upsetting to me to think that I may not see my grandkids grow up.

All of the charities that you ladies sponsor are very good charities and I respect you all so much for the work you do. My thoughts are why not sponsor a charity for the older people that have lost their retirements and life savings to the greedy people of Enron. I know that if this has happened to us it has happened to other people that really need finical help.

Please consider this and get back with me if you have the time and are interested in developing an organization. I do work a full 40 hour, but I will do everything I can to help myself and thousands of others that really need help to pay rent, buy badly needed medications, and put food put on the table. I can tell you from experience IT IS SO HARD TO ASK STRANGERS FOR HELP, but it is better than losing your home, security and dignity. I have been there and done that.

    Sincerely,
    Glenda Johnson

    Hi Jill,
I heard your interview with the Q morning show out of Portland, ME today and you said to write so I am. I love the show and have to agree with the rest that you and Bethenny are by far my favorites. I was in NYC last month with my daughter and sister-in-law and we were walking around when we came across Zarin Fabics so we went in. I loved the doggy dish on the stand that was on sale but it was too hard to carry it home on the plane along with the rest of my stuff. (I have a new Malti-poo puppy. Too cute.)
Stay as nice as you are - you heart is in the right place and don’t let anyone tell you any differently. Can’t wait to see the new drama on tonight’s show :)

    Jill-
I love you and you are such a riot! I refer to myself as “the gentile jill” now as I too enjoy being a bit of a “connector” as well as a dedicated fund raiser for charities. You and Bethany are my favorites and am hoping one day our paths cross! Keep keeping it real and I am definitely going to check out Zarin Fabrics! We are moving to a new apartment in August so I will need all kinds of fabric!

Will you be downloading the radio program with you and Bobby? I really enjoy the show.

  21. Lexus Says:

I love you and Bethanny!!! Like everyone else’s comments…you two rock! Bobby’s such a good husband! Kelly disgusts me! I just watched the episode with the Halloween party. She showed up 3 hours late and had the nerve to be upset because no one was there! HELLO…they were there waiting for you. She loves attention. Get over yourself! I loved how Bethenny handled her!

  22. Lisa Says:

You are a class act and a very impressive woman.

  23. Dessa Says:

I love your life (except for the Arthritis of your beloved daughter). Would you like to trade for MY life? Appreciate all that you have, especially your loving family.

  24. Pete Says:

Enjoyed this week’s episode. You really did a great job dealing with the interviewer from BBC who, clearly, was trying to set you up. You work for what you have and you give back. End of story. I find a real sense of compassion in you and that came across in the interview with BBC. I think the reporter left somewhat disappointed in that he couldn’t portray you as an out of touch rich girl.

    Love ya!

  25. Lori Says:

    Hi Jill,

Not writing about the show (even though you are fabulous), I am writing because my mom was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) 32 years ago and I wanted to offer some advice to you for your daughter. Not sure what kind of arthritis she has but if it’s RA, I have grown up witnessing it’s degenerative effects my entire life. (My mom was diagnosed right after having me).

My mom has always declined surgery for her disease. My mom will be 65 in August and her feet are terribly disfigured and she walks with a lot of discomfort. I don’t know if the surgery would have helped but I sometimes wish she would have had the corrective surgery. My advice to you (if your daughter has RA) is to inquire about surgery. It’s too late for my mom because her RA is at such an advanced state. But I always wondered if the surgery would have helped, how would she be walking today?

My heart goes out to you because I have lived with this disease (through my mom) and it’s heartbreaking that there’s so little treatment. My mom has had IV treatment, gold shots…you name it. Personally, I feel they are more pain management rather than any healing or curing.

Best of luck to your daughter.

  26. Jen Says:

Jill!! You and Bethenny are my two favorite people on the show!! I LOVE your new apartment! The walls are amazing! Your blog for Bravo is hilarious and I can’t wait to start reading on this site!! You’re the best!!

  27. Mary Layne Says:

Love you. You and Bethenny tell it like it is. That’s how I am and It does get me into trouble. You look fantastic and I love houseweives of NYC. Kelly is a total pphoney. She needs to growup and get real. She is not a little girl anymore and needs to stop acting like one.

  28. Melissa Says:

Hey Jill! I absolutely love you on the show! You and Bethenny are the best! I just read your blog on Bravotv.com. Not sure if you read these or not, but I feel the need to tell you, with much respect and with only good intentions, that you spelled plagiarism incorrectly. I have seen the holier-than-thou attitudes of some of your castmates (especially Mario), and I would hate to see any one of them have any more ridiculous excuses to treat you badly. After seeing the way Mario went on and on about the silly tennis match, I can only imagine the fun they would have over pointing out something as silly as a grammatical error. I’m pretty sure you can take care of yourself, but it’s nice when people have your back too. Don’t change a single thing about yourself and please don’t take this message as a dig.

  29. twinheart Says:

I normally do not post on blogs, but for two very important reasons, I am posting this time - the first reason is because I have enormous respect for you - you handle your life with grace and class - not an easy thing to do in private, much less in public - the second reason is because last night I watched the BBC come into your apartment (lovely, by the way) and insult you and Americans in general - that disturbed me greatly -
you and your husband earned every penny that you have - never feel the need to apologize for your wealth, and never be embarrassed by it. That is what happens in a capitalistic society. That other countries are not as prosperous as we are is not the fault of the US, but rather the fault of their own third world oppressive regimes. As you pointed out, the sheer volume of money that you raise for those less fortunate is a testament to not only your generosity, but the generosity of America in general. Had the BBC been in my home and implied that I had no right to have wealth, I would have thrown them out. I understand that it must have seemed an honor, but I feel that you were insulted, and that disturbs me - it is what happens to America on an almost daily basis in microcosim. If they show up again, show them the door -

thanks for the time - twin

Hi Jill, I am, along with my sister Deborah, intrigued with your show. You have the most incredible spirit and energy! I spent some time in New York doing trunk shows. I am a couture clothing designer in Jackson Hole. I have had a store here for over a decade. I am a Wyoming small town girl and have done two “freebird” jackets for Lynyrd Skynyrd and made some things for Paula Zahn. I don’t know if you have ever considered coming out “west”, but I do some really amazing work with my crew of artists. I love watching you and your “designers”. New York people embrace the unusual and I want to applaud you in embracing the uniqueness in us all with such class and integrity! Best regards, Michelle Julene

    Jill-
I have been catching up on all the housewive’s blogs and just had to send you an email-you rock! Of all the housewives’ shows (I just started watching a year ago) New York’s is my favorite. It may be because I live in Chicago, but I think it’s because you and Bethenny are my absolute faves!! Our daughter lives in NY and we’ll be there for a short trip next month. While in NY, we plan to spend a couple of days in the city and when my husband asked me what I wanted to put on our itinerary while we’re in NYC I said, “to see if I can meet Jill and Bethenny!” I don’t really know if that will become reality, but hope to run into you somewhere while we’re there. I’ll be checking for any parties or events occurring while we’re there-unfortunately we’ll miss the art event where you’ll be honored (darn!) but maybe there will be something else going on?

I’ll also try to check out starcam soon.

    Stay real and true…you’re awesome!

    Trisha

  35. Mary Says:

Jill - Can you please add your comments regarding the Halloween party? We all probably crashed your website typing about the Cash Bar No-Show Hostess party.

  36. Steve & Irene Says:

Hey Jill, I’ll record the interview for everyone here to listen to and send it to you via e-mail later this morning — taking the dog out to do his business and going back to BED!!

You and Bobby do a GREAT job! Just make sure to say hello to ALL of us at the “Real Fans of Jill Zarin!”
