Season 5 Week 2 Reflections and Thoughts Out Loud

Hi everyone. So…what do I do…do I watch the show..not watch the show…blog the show…watch and not blog…no matter what I say or do I get judged. How would you feel if everything you did was scrutinized. Since I know the REAL truth..watching Sonja hit on the contractor ,Luann forgive Ramona…after they both admitted they don’t really like each other, Ramona has called her daughter a drug addict, Luann a whore on and on. Ramona a drunk .they hug and make up. How SICK is it and how unreal because if I had to accept that they would forgive each other so quickly after they have each said the most hateful, heinous things to each other, makes me want to vomit. Even The Jewish Journal blogger has said she won’t be blogging the show anymore. Hah! I can’t tell you how much I love reading your tweets and comments here on jillzarin.com. Since I don’t have enough room here..I will be sending out my next newsletter Wednesday sharing some of the stuff we have been doing lately and what I have coming up. I tweeted today…I love waking up to trees, birds and the smell of cut grass..much better than cement! We have been in the hamptons ALOT since I don’t have to do anything for the show anymore ( can you see the BIG SMILE across my face thru your computer screen?) I am relieved to not have anyone write mean things about my family and criticize my every word and move. It is much more fun watching Reality than actually being on an ensemble cast where they talk behind your back for sport. I know many of you have said you watched the first episode and won’t watch again..or didn’t watch any of the season..or watch it and feel guilty. Please know how I understand how you feel. You were asked to invest yourselves into a group of women and feel attached. So did we. We also were attached to all of you. I have actually made friends with some of you and you know who you are. All of the crap was worth taking knowing I would not have met you if not for Bravo and for that we must all accept and be grateful.I am sure you have heard by now that the rating were down 200,000. Actually there is a website called www.bravoratings.com that analyze all the rating since the beginning. It was very cool to see it all in writing and many people in reality television will be waiting anxiously for tonights ratings to come out. Why? Because people want to know…are you watching the show because it is RHNYC and it doesn’t matter who is cast..or is the cast critical to the success of a show. Remember Dallas? ( probably not!) Well it’s back BTW. One season was completely erased and called “The Dream” season because the rumor was they fired Bobby Ewing who was rumored wanted too much money and then when the fans backlashed against the network with a Boycott, call in. write in campaign ( there were no blogs, emails, tweets or Facebook back in the OLD DAYS) . The had to “eat crow” and bring back Bobby with a huge raise. I am sure Bravo is contemplating a cast “renovation” on the other cities and evaluating the success or failure of RHNYC cast. Also…what will they do next season? Will they recast again? Bring back all or some of this cast? A lot of decisions are riding on the success or failure of RHNYC Season 5. The question is..does anyone care anymore? Is the “party” over? Can you ever get back or “go back” to what was “television Magic” the original cast? Did they change too many cast members at once> RHOC was successful in changing cast members because it was subtle. Lauri one season. Jeana the next. Not all 4 at the same time. Will anyone be fired for the millions of dollars in advertising currently being refunded for the promise of certain ratings for making the decision? All these questions will be answered in the next few weeks. If you are even thinking that the cast could be asked back..the fans would have do pull off a DALLAS move. I am certainly not advocating anything..just thinking of all the scenarios out loud. Or thinking and writing them! I agree with you. I think that Bravo made a mistake by wiping the entire cast, I think they had too much kahounas and thought that the audience would watch. You are right, we grew attached to you all. I would have liked a subtle change, starting with Alex McCord being fired.
I just feel that you are so hurt and we can all see it. I think that if you held your head high and let the audience do the talking for you that Bravo maybe would have asked you back, but I have to say I think that’s no longer an option, Andy Cohen and his team are too macho to take this kind of retort from you and then invite you back

I watch this season with a heavy heart, Jill. I swore to my sister I wasn’t watching when I heard you weren’t returning. Yet I found myself drawn into the premiere because I was HOPING someone would take down Ramona (I can’t stand her two-faceness or the way she gets away with cruelty). I think BRAVO has taken a very nasty turn. I will always remember the reasons I loved the Housewives shows in the first place- women (mothers & wives) having lunch, shopping, doing charity and hanging out with girlfriends. It reminded me of my time with my friends and sisters. The negative bullying turns all of the shows have taken is disgusting. I hope being away from this mess brings you much deserved peace. You are so blessed with your wonderful husband, beautiful daughter and loving family. Best wishes to you & yours.

I just read your twitter post, I see you posted TheJewishJournal and all the hateful and nasty things she wrote about your FRIEND LuAnn. That makes me question you and what the other girls have said about you. Will you throw your friends under the bus and repost mean and derogatory accusations and statements out there just to promote yourself? Maybe I was wrong for supporting you and maybe I am ready for a change after all.

Greetings Jill, I have to say that you were my favorite of the RHNYC ladies, and you are sorely missed this season. I’ve watched both episodes and I can’t say I’m particularly thrilled with any of the new cast members. Should BRAVO ask you back, I hope you’ll be able to accept. Of course, if BRAVO were really, really clever, they’d figure out a show for you, and let the other one fade into tv history…

Jill, I can understand how difficult it must be right now to decide how much you should say about how you are feeling regarding the whole situation. You should be proud of the way you have handled things since the last season of RHONY. Your fans still love you and support you and we are hoping to see more of you at some stage! As for the show now, people may still watch it, but its quite clearly a different show to what it was, the whole vibe is off. I’m glad you are at peace with it all and I just wanted to say, you’re twice the lady half of those b*tches are!

I sure miss you on the show. ( not your over the top voice lol ) ok but I do miss you and would MUCH rather have you then that bug eyed troll Sonja. She is ridiculous, mean, vial and hypocritical. However Karma is headed her way. The psychic is Morocco said another woman is around.. Well low and behold look who is all over her husband next week.. That s what you get when you blackmail people about their kids. She is an alcoholic who is desperate for help. It’s too bad well never see you back on but wish you well.

Why oh why oh why are we left with Ramona as the queen bee of NYC? She is an awful, shrill woman. She talks over people, down to people, behind their backs. She makes faces at them, rolls her eyes and reminds them that she is a “business woman”. She is catty, a liar, two-faced and abrasive. I though this was supposed to be a fun show. A show where we can live vicariously through strong, successful NYC women. I wouldnt want to walk in any of their shoes.
The new cast is a snooze-fest. And the remaining cast mates are stale. There is a sense of friendships being forced and the embers of old rivalries being reignited for ratings. Sonia is trying to bed half of Manhattan and flirting with every man, woman, and transgender in her path. I think she’s even flirted with inanimate objects like daybeds, curtains and toaster ovens. Give me Silex over HeathCarolViva any day. And the back and forth between LuMonia is enough to give anyone a migraine.
We miss you, Jill. The first seasons of RHONYC were the best. Now it’s a hot mess of women pimping out Pinot, Yummie Tummies, and tone deaf, over-mixed songs, and toaster ovens. Are we supposed to take this seriously? Andy has Jersey Shorified the housewives and it’s not pretty. At least the Snookies and Situations of the world can blame their actions on their tender ages. They aren’t old enough to know better. The new RHONYC’s are plenty old enough to be aware of their actions. So what’s their excuse?

You think your harping, sense of superiority, and that nonstop critique of everyone around you is an improvement over the new classy ladies this season will keep me laughing for quite a while. Hi Jill, I have to admit I never watched the show until they were running a bunch of reruns before the premier of season 5. I tivo’d it and just watched and watched and watched. It gave me palpitations. But I was hooked. Now I am watching the new season and it’s lacking something. Really I felt like you were the the star. And was sad to see you not coming back. I even miss Alex and her hives. I liked kelly too. Cindy was a little boring. The newbies are okay but it isn’t the same. I did watch Alex’s interpretation of episode 2 and she really made me see the episode a whole different way. It made sense. But did the show actually grab me? Not one bit. I think Bravo has made a big mistake. I wish you all the best and I hope you come back in some way. This cast needs a vitamin B12 shot.

First of all, thank you Jill for reposting this blog. Please, never ever, feel the need to pull down your own words again. This is YOUR website … remember that!
Secondly, kudos to you for standing up for the children on RHoNY. I was so impressed by the way you acted on the Reunion Show when Ramona was having a dig at Luann’s parenting skills and Victoria herself. This was so hypocritical given the way Ramona is prepared to throw her own daughter into a cab late at night (Fashion Week) just so that she can attend a Perez Hilton party with Kelly — not to mention plenty of other examples of neglectful parenting.
As for what to do when RHoNY screens? Watch if you feel like it … and blog about it if you feel like it. You were the subject of so many blogs when you were on the show, you are more than entitled to blog away yourself now … and who else has a better insight into the inner dynamics of that group of women than you?!
As for me, IF the next season of RHoNY screens down here in Australia, I certainly won’t be watching. Why? It will be boring without you … but also because I am not prepared to lend my support to the likes of Ramona Singer and Andy Cohen.

I am in the UK so God knows when we will get to see the new series. All I know is that you were the one who pulled me in.
Ok and if I am honest, Ramona who has to be the most rude, uneducated, cringe worthy and vacuous creature I have ever encountered via the wonders of TV. She is pure car crash TV…I watch her open mouthed – the garbage which comes from this woman’s mouth is incredible.

Jill, you are a lady and you love and take care of your hubby. Sorry, but couldn’t stand Alex, such a social climber. I would adore you coming back, but Bravo has lost me as a viewer, because no one could be more rude or hurtful than Ramona. The new girls, all look alike. And sadly, your class and beauty, also Kelly is missed!! All of the Housewive shows seemed to be a hit because you got the ball rolling years ago. (Thanks Bravo for your Loyalty). I hope you get a show of your own, than Ramona’s Big unloyal (to everyone) mouth, won’t be constantly open. Have another drink Ramona, sets such a GREAT example, and to Stephanie-Anne above, the new classy ladies, right!! I wish Jill was never cut from the show, there is no going back. It is their loss. I am happy you did the show, you are my favorite housewife. Your family is wonderful, as are you. I know exactly where I’ll be buying fabrics on my next trip to NYC. As for this season … Oy vey, Ramona makes me ill, that women needs some serious therapy. Luanne, seems so close to happiness, I bet she’d have it if she left the show…I’m guessing she needs the money. We all know Sonja needs money, among other ahem things. The new blood seems nice enough, if the NYC show makes it another season I’d be surprised. It’s a sad shell of what it was.

Watched the 1st episode season 5 last week..what a hot mess! watched this week..boring.totally screwed up this show…It seems so obviously forced and fake..ugh…NY used to be my fave of all the housewive shows..not now..it really sucks and is lame..Miss you..hell i even miss Alex and Simon..Ramona has gotten crazy mean and not even in a good”train wreck” way..she’s just nasty! yuck…They screwed up by changing everything..the show’s lame now

As much as I would miss you, Cindy, and Kelly, I could have kept watching if the entire cast had been replaced, or at least if both Alex and Ramona had also been fired. But keeping Ramona, there’s no way. She’s hideously annoying and not entertaining at all. I’m sure she’s bullying everyone in sight with no one left to stand up to her. Andy and Bravo are liars and hypocrites, there’s no new direction or positivity with nasty old Ramona. They should honestly tell the truth about why Ramona has carte blanche to hijack their show and act like a crazy person, I have no idea what it is, but there’s got to be some reason they keep her with outrageous off-camera diva antics. It sure isn’t because she’s popular, looking at the ratings.

You’re so much better off, and seem so much happier.
It was a wonderful experience when the original cast was all together, but now…I can’t take another season of yelling and name-calling.

Hi Jill. I admit Ramona was a favorite of mine until this new season. She is a CRUEL woman with a personality disorder. There is no reason for her to be on the show. It is painful to watch her gaffes and inappropriate commentary. How does she keep any friends? We need you back on the show. Two of the new women were born with silver spoons in their mouths and the Schindler wife is annoying. You are what you are, a Jewish princess and I miss seeing you hold court!

Jill, you have a right to your opinion & can blog it if you want. I myself have made a conscious decision to not watch this season, even though I watch all of the Housewife series. I would like to say it’s because they fired you, & that is a part of it, but mostly it is because they fired you and then KEPT RAMONA. She is vile & I have no desire to see her face/hear her voice/watch her actions. Believe me, I have let Bravo/Andy Cohen know, but honestly I think even if they asked you back that you are better off without them!

I will not watch RHONY without you being on the show. The premiere was a joke and without you…it’s just not worth it. Ramona is so mean and hateful! Jill, they never should of got rid of you. I understand getting rid of Kelly. She couldnt handle it. I’m not the biggest Countess fan, but Romana went way over the line. You told her at the reunion, kids should be off the table. I did watch just out of curiosity I suppose. Now I kept watching only because I want to see how this whole Luann & Ramona thing happens. The new women are boring. Are we going to go through a whole season of…one upping each other? If this is the case I will stop watching once the Ramona & Luann issue is resolved.

The show is definitely missing a spark. I like Carole a lot but I don’t think she is suited to the show. The other ladies I could take or leave. Last season got really vicious and I wasn’t fond of it but even without B we still had Jill, Alex, Kelly… I can’t admit to being a big fan of Cindy’s. Love them or hate them they were entertaining as hell to watch. Considering all the stuff that got said about you Jill, you are better off out of it and enjoying your life. I personally miss seeing you on the show.

WOW I figured you ladies chose to not do this season, but from reading this it seems it was more of Bravo’s doing. I hate this season, I tried to give them a chance, ok well maybe 2 episodes is not really a chance, but they are never going to grab my attention like the past few seasons. The only one’s that should have been removed Ramona and getting sick of Sonja now too are still there. So annoying Bravo show’s are always my favorite hopefully they see fans are dissappointed!

Miss you terribly, Jill!?! You are my very favorite housewife of all and I miss you on my TV! Best wishes on whatever you’d like to do next. They should have just fired Silex and Kelly twice and kept you (I wish they had thought of that instead of me)! Keep the faith; everything happens for a reason whether we can see it or not.

Jill I just think there are so many other things that you can do next. You could write a book about the inside the tapings of the seasons, or secrets you wouldn’t share until now. Maybe you will become a producer of a show, maybe you will become the star of your own. I know a LOT of people out here want to hear what really went down behind the scenes by you. You are the most trusted housewife. You and Bobby are amazing. You tell the truth and you do not sugar coat your feelings, you are RAW and that’s why we love you. I agree that Ramona went after LuAnns kids, she needed to be called out for that, but the Jewish Journalist calls LuAnn “Countless” and then you repost her blog, to me that is questionable behavior from someone we all trust. Another question, obviously it will make you happy if the RHoNYC failed – but don’t you think it will build itself back up? These viewers always sayd “I won’t watch” and then they do, all they need are a few new characters and juicy scandal…some people will do anything for money and viewers will take any bait!
Please tell me what you think about revealing behind the scenes information, standing on your own 2 feet, and starting your OWN party – this way you can decide who can come back to yours and you wont have to be hurt over who didn’t invite you back to theirs. Time is ticking for these other girls, Sonja and Romana – it’s time for a new class. I guarantee you your success over powers Ramonas at the finnish line. Her Jewelry is cheap and tacky and you are much more liked.

Jill, I watched The Real Housewives series and read several blogs in order to understand not only why so many people watch but what occurs that creates such loyalty or negativity towards the people on the show and those who watch. I get that in order to hold a viewers attention the group needs to set themselves apart from the rest. I also discovered the more negative the situations became the higher the ratings, to a point. When the negativity passed the point of comfort for viewers that is when people were cut from the shoow. There were weeks I couldn’t watch the show based on the upcoming promos, there came a point where it wasn’t entertaining, it was upsetting to see people tear each other apart. It seems the Housewives franchise has their pattern of building and escalating the negativity to the point viewers stop watching then their remedy is to replace people and start all over. Do you really want to place yourself in that world again? Is it worth the beating you’ve taken in the blogs, tv, and magazines? What is there that would benefit you if you returned? Besides bloggers primed to trace your every move and to vilify you at every turn. I am someone who watches the shows, I would not be considered a loyal fan but I like some parts so I continue to watch. Yet when I look back on your experience through the comments, blogs, podcasts, interviews, and magazines trying to see what you did to create such negativity to the point of dedicated blogs I wonder if going back is the wisest choice for you. You like to give advice, write books, have great contacts for charity work, and so on. Why not use RHONY as a stepping off point to go to something better such as a radio show, another book, your own show? I get the feeling as Bravo placed you in the lead villain role the second season you got caught up in the actions and have paid dearly via public opinion. I don’t know anyone who could stand the barrage of negativity that surrounds you and the show. I don’t think anyone can understand what it is like to have every thing you do or say judged so vehemently unless they walked a day in your shoes. Hence my question as to why would you want to go back when the show promises to be right where you left it. In the first season people loved you for who they thought you were, that is how you presented yourself, I imagine that is how you truly are. Why not stop defending and apologizing for your participation in the show and move on to create from a more positive place. RHONY and whether you are on or off the show shouldn’t define you, the generosity in helping others via charities, advice, and as an author is what we learned about you that no one can take away. I fear if you go back you will open yourself up to what you don’t want and you may diminish the positive impact you have had. You have made it this far and through a lot of adversity and life lessons most people could not imagine. I miss you on the show, and poo-ah quiet Bah-bee who had tah schlep along aftah you. There is no reason why they should have ax’ed you. You always added to the show and were never boring.

I miss you so much on the show. I don’t miss Kelly or Alex (too weird for me), but I so miss you. I watched the new season and it is not the same. I think the new housewives are boring. I think Carole might be interesting as it goes along, but that’s it. Ramona is still wacky and now she doesn’t have you to call her out on it. Anyway, think I am going to stop watching. Too bad as I really enjoyed it and would never miss it. Wishing you would come back, but sending peace and love if you don’t.

I have always, ALWAYS been a huge Jill Zarin fan from day one. I even went as you for Halloween – tastefully done, natch ! BRAVO has made a HUGE mistake letting you go. I cannot fathom why they let you go and kept Ramona! I read that after that last intense reunion (well, aren’t they all ? I mean, that’s why we all watch it!! ) BRAVO felt it was too mean spirited, nasty fighting, etc. Guess BRAVO doesn’t watch New Jersey, OC, Atlanta ?? I’ve said from day one, JILL ZARIN IS the Housewives of New York !! Ramona has never looked relaxed on the show. She is always playing to the camera. Ramona acts like she’s the Donald Trump of the business world while she clearly has NO idea how to talk to people. She is now reduced to a Pino Grigio laced caricature of her former self. Luann, is still the classiest one left. I hated Kelly at first, but the season AFTER her Crazy Island Breakdown, she kinda grew on me. I don’t miss the shrilly Alex trying so hard to climb that unattatinable (for her) social ladder, though I do miss the absurdity of Simon. Bethany? I truly wish your friendship could not be salvaged. But it’s a two way street, Jill, don’t ever think it was your fault. Bethany has many MANY issues as seen on her own show. She is creating a LOT of her “problems”. A WRITE IN CAMPAIGN to get you back on RHONY ?? count me in !! I’ll vote as often as I can! Love you Jill !!

Jill you were the true star of that show since season one. Out of all of the housewife franchises you were my favorite. I just don’t see what other people see. You always seemed so genuine and nice. I know people can be cruel but I really want you to know that you’re awesome. I think a lot of people are easily influenced and I see bravo do it all the time. Where one season you’re the favorite and next season you’re the most hated. I won’t be tuning in to this season of RHONY cause you’re not on it. And I meant to say I wish your friendship w/ Bethany COULD be salvaged ! **Also wanted to say of the newbies, Heather seems the most real/smart/savvy, etc. and isn’t afraid to stand up to Ramona. However, Heather needs to learn her geography. Though she now has a summer home in the Berkshires, she stated she grew up in the Berkshires, then said she was from Copake, NY. I’m from the Hudson area – Copake is a few towns over – though we love the Berkshires also, Copake is NOT in the Berkshires ! See? Even Heather is trying to make herself sound better than she is ! She must have watched too many Alex episodes. which reminds me…SONJA states she is from Saratoga…she is actually from the next town over. Just one of my pet peeves.

It’s just not the same. Ramona is just crazy, and makes me want to turn the channel! LuAnn, get over yourself. I wish it were the original cast. I know Bethanny is gone, that’s ok, but the rest of the cast should have stayed. I vow not to watch anymore, it was nasty.

I’ve been a RHONYC fan from the very first season and must say I’ve also liked and admired you…..well not always. I was very disappointed and saddened with the way you treated Bethaney and watching your friendship implode was heart-wrenching. I hope you have made amends behind the scenes because you only live once and it isn’t every day when special people cross into your life. I watched the new season of RHONYC and it just isn’t the same without you but I’m sure you are a happier person not being under the glare and constant scrutiny of the public eye. I truly think you are a remarkable woman and will miss your humor and wit on the show. I don’t think it will ever be the same. Please don’t ever think about going back especially with the way Bravo treated you. You deserve SO much better than that.

Hi Jill! I am so sad with the new show. In the old days when you were on it, I watched the show immediately and loved it. Now, it has taken me four times on the dvr to try to get through it. It’s just boring.
I don’t quite understand Heather, I do love Aviva, Carol is great, but doesn’t seem right for the show. I don’t mind that they cut Alex, she seemed nice, but was getting too hysterical emotionally as time went on.
I really miss you on the show. I know everyone has an opinion, but keeping Ramona over you just blows my mind! I don’t like the message she gives off with constantly having to have a pinot in her hand at all times. It’s great she is a successful woman in business, but the alcohol all the time is just too over the top and it seems she won’t do anything without a pinot! Insisting on it first thing anywhere she goes and bringing it everywhere- who does that? I’m not positive, but it seems she is blitzed most of the time!
I like that you are a classy, fun, successful woman that cares about her family and children and puts her marriage as the priority it should be. I liked that you share about your Jewish heritage and felt the bar has been lowered on the show when they left you out. I miss seeing the love between you and your husband and the energy you brought to the show. Take care, miss you Jill!

Jill, last year was a rough year for RHONYC. It wasn’t entertaining anymore, just one angry word after another and it wasn’t just you. It seemed that the entire cast was angry at someone. Ramona always seems to be revered for some reason as it was said “If Ramona shows up you have to respect that”. BULL!
I really appreciate you Jill and I know you are a real person who made mistakes and tried to correct them. Perhaps your not on the show because of that. Do something totally you and keep doing charity work. You are appreciated!

Jill, you and Bethenny were my favorites because you were the most honest and real. I’ve liked Ramona sometimes but this season her worse side has overtaken any good qualities she had. Sonja is skanky, and Luann is a cold, snide *itch. I cringe when she interacts with her children. I don’t know why they kept those three, when they should have kept you instead.
I like the new women so far, but it’s hard to watch the show because of Ramona, Sonja and Luann. I do miss you, and hope you are doing well. I am interested in reading your honest thoughts as the season progresses.

I really think the party is over. I used to make a point to watch it on the same night it aired and now it is an afterthought. If I miss it I do not care. In fact I am removing it from my Tivo because it is boring. However, if they brought back the original cast I would certainly watch it again. The original cast made it and we actually cared about the lives of those involved. We knew the back story and we invested our time. For Bravo to think they can replace the people we are invested it is kinda nutty and bad business. I cannot understand the motivation to be on that show anymore. It does not seem like it is fun. It seems hurtful and mean-spirited.

BTW, Bravo has lost this family…we will not be watching this year’s season. The first episode cured us and we won’t be tuning in again. Hello…a single woman is NOT a housewife! I think they really messed up letting you go instead of letting Ramona stay…BIG mistake!

Jill, you have always been and will remain my favorite RHONY. It would be rather impossible to survive clever editing. I have watched since season 1 and find it impossible to watch. The balance is gone and it appears that all of the story lines are spinning like a top off in multiple directions. Miss you!

Hi Jill. We won’t get the latest RHNY episodes for a while yet (as others have said, we’re a bit behind down here in Australia), but I’m re-watching all the seasons via iTunes while I do office work (one after the other … I must be a masochist).
I’ve been through the emotional highs and lows for you (and other cast members), and although I feel most of the show is strongly manipulated (duh), your reactions have appeared the most real throughout. You are a big person. You love intensely, and give everything of yourself to those you love. That comes across very clearly. If any of us can claim to behave perfectly all the time, then they can pick up stones and throw them, but I suspect none of us fit that description. AND none of us watching at home have ever been put into the “real” situations you have.
I will miss seeing you and Bobby in Season 5 (when it gets here eventually). Your husband is a sweetheart. However, I can’t help thinking you are better off without the stress and emotional manipulation. Every time I watch Ramona, I always feel she is playing the RH system and knows what Bravo wants. They want drama, she’ll give them drama.
Enjoy your wonderful summer in The Hamptons. I can understand how watching this season will hurt you to watch, but just keep reminding yourself how much better off your life will be without it.

The new show is boring, and obviously orchestrated. I know that
plot developments are always discussed, but these ladies can’t
make a tornado exciting. I used to look forward to the show.
but now I just watch hoping it will get better. The new ladies
have blah personalities, and I miss the intimacy of the old
cast, who were petty, but undeniably fun.
Best years of RHONY? When Bethenny and Jill were tight.

Jill, new to this blog, should have checked sooner. Everyone needs to back off, if you arent interested in what Jill has to say, don’t read her blog! Instead you choose to read it and say mean things, yes everyone is intitled to their opinion, but I would think, as I feel myself, that I came on here to read how she is doing and what is going on in HER life, not to dis her because she states the obvious. This happens with women everyday, they are friends and then talk to another friend and say things they promised to keep confidential, you should be able to tell your friend something and not worry they are going to repeat it, good or bad! That’s how I live my life, unfortunately, some of my FORMER friends did not! You go Jill! Sounds like you have an amazing husband/family, people can be so jealous!

It doesn’t make sense to me that they kept Ramona on the show. She is a someone I prefer not to see. Another thing that puzzles me is reading the reason for the cast change. Bravo said it was too dark. Give me a break. Did anyone get hurt, no. Was anyone embezzling funds or breaking the law, no. Did you do anything that hurt Bethenny’s quest for success, no. Is Kelly in a straight-jacket, no. What was so dark? You fought like silly girls, big deal. I just don’t where any real harm was done and they should have fired Ramona, seems to me she has done more hurtful things than anyone.

The show no longer has its appeal with the new cast. It is simply flat, and I personally am no longer a big fan. Bravo made a huge mistake in taking you and Alex out of the show.

Jill, YOU were the show. I refuse to watch any of the housewives shows. A huge group of us would get together at each others houses for each show. We are no longer doing this. Eveyone I know who used to watch any of these shows has stopped.
Without you, the show is nothing. I love you, and love your attitude towards life. You are better off without this toxic hell of a show!!!!!!!!!

I noticed someone left a comment about the way Jill treated Bethenny……
I want to comment on that situation. Jill was going thru a very rough time when Bobby was diagnosed with cancer. Jill’s reaction was a normal reaction that most people have when someone is going thru something like that with a loved one. For bethenny to become a b!tch during that time with someone who had been there for her and carried her along, doing so much for her, then use it to her advantage…….:-( sorry but bethenny frankel is nothing but a fame-grubbing suzz bucket.
and she is getting a big bite in her fat ass from KARMA!!!!!!!!
If I had a friend who was going thru something like that (and I have) I am there saying GF whatever you need I am here for you, just let me know.
that’s what real friends do.

Jill, definitely miss you on RHNYC. It’s not New York without Jill! BUT, I do have to say I DO NOT miss Kelly. I thought she was ‘off’ from the first time she appeared on the screen, and all that went down with Bethanny was hard to watch as it was obvious something was wrong with her. It should be a fun show to watch and it was not fun with Kelly. Luann is a phony and not likeable and she is two faced and seems to always delight in it when someone is having problems. Alex – harmless and can take or leave her. Now, the new housewives. At first I wasn’t sure how it would be. It takes time to get used to the new characters, but so far they seem like interesting ladies. From the previews it looks like a lot of drama is coming involving Ramona and Sonja of course. I think you would fit in well with this new group and maybe Bravo will realize they need Jill back to pull it all together! Anyway, miss you – you were always a classy lady and you always kept it real and you were never phony! Best to you and your family!
