I thought Bethenny’s BRAV blog last week was really uncalled for. She uses the show as a business platform. I mean she was already on the Apprentice so I think it’s hypocritical she said other “housewives’ and even Mario and Simon use the show for other purposes and even at the reunion she said “it’s called the real housewives.” She doesn’t meet the requirements. I love her but she should really think before she blogs. lol

Your right “the book” should of been discussed at their house, not in a public place and for sure not at a dinner she was invited to. Not even a dinner she set up. Danielle has no class, and the more she talks about “the book” the less she has.

I hope that the real reason for the tension between Danille and Dina comes out . NJ.com said it was over a payment for some legal fees but 2 people do not have that much hatrid towards one another for something like that

I only meant that they are the only cast with the exception of Danielle who are married and have children. Danielle has children at least. I just think Bethenny doesn’t fit that criteria for the show, I love the fact that she is on NY and I don’t think I would like it as much if she wasn’t part of the cast…. that’s all, I wasn’t putting down any of the other shows or the franchise

Jill do you feel that the ladies are being very nice to Danielle. It’s almost like they have decided to either just let it be, or that they are not going to take any of her stuff. I have not heard them communicate this well with Danielle all season.
Jacquline looks very uncomfortable. Could be the pregnancy, but also looks like the family told her she must be on board, as she looked uncomfortable answering the question about Danielle asking her to get everyone to talk about the book

Oooh Jill you were quoted!! You’re advice is right and just because Teresa came out Ok… doesn’t really mean anything. She’s the exception. When you give your daughter everything and cater to her no man will ever be good enough for her as an adult. Because nobody is going to spoil her like mommy and daddy. Can you imagine Teresa marrying a guy with a moderate income? Never happen – so if she were in a situation where she couldn’t snag a rich man she’d still be single.

I do not think Teresa is the “Biggest” stage mom at all. I am involved in pageantry and she is nothing compared to what I see on a regular basis. Teresa is adorable – I also love that they wore solids and it good colors. I love you Jill! Thanks for doing this!

I understand how Danielle does not keep anything from her kids I can respect that, but what that dinner turned into was no place for children of any age. I also agree with Caroline and Dina…there would have been no problem talking about the book but not in a family setting where Theresa did in fact invite Danielle into a setting where no one was really comfortable with her being there, but things like that book are brought in for drama drama drama and boy did it.

One episode from either of our seasons is so much better than their entire season! Yeah the dinner was GREAT TV but the other episodes were boring and solely revolved around Danielle and THE BOOK.
We had:
Ramona’s Pinot Grigio IV
Kelly v. Bethenny (parts 1 and 2)
Luann v. Ramona (over the counts age)
Alex and Simon (enough said, one word — fascinating)
Kelly’s dumb voice (ahhh Max Max!)
Gay Husband “This party is so pedestrian” — while horribly dressed i might add
LuAnn being demeaning to her help (switching between rosie v. roseanne)
Ramona’s explosion at the arrival of Simon at the Dinner Party
Me licking inside mommy’s nostrils
Thats all the drama but there was definitely a lot of laughs and love. Try listing anything about NJ that doesn’t involve Danielle and THE BOOK. Boring. ATL and NYC are by far the best. Team Jill and Nene for life

Good start for the Reunion..love teresa and her girls so what if she shops for them, if she could afford it Good for her. Happy for Jacki on expecting. Danielle what was she doing there? Just waisting time knowing she had plastic surgery about 10 times..Respect Caroline and her belives she looked nice tonight. Dina was crying because it was a hurt in her husband family wouldent you be hurt a bit? Love them overall us NJ girls aren’t as spoil as they made us look maybe a bit haha but hope next season they’ll replace Danielle with a REAL housewife.

I think they will show Danielle in the last few minutes of the “Last Supper” in the parking lot with her girls. She implied that Dina had crossed her and that she was punished.

These housewives hold back way more than NYC…NYC is more realistic than these – the family factor: sisters/sister in law had them holding back alot during the season..Theresa was entertaining, Danielle brought the drama.

dina cried bc she was involved with that family at the time…caroline was with her husband (he proposed right after the incident with his father) at the time his father was murdered. they were family then too.
why is no one telling danielle that kids that age do not need to learn this so young. didnt it break her heart when her youngest (and oldest i think) said to the cameras that she wanted to jump in and help her mother…it broke MY heart!

No Jill yours were not any better, did you have 3.2 million viewers. These women are much more real, and they are or were actually housewives. You hate Danielle, because she reminds you of yourself, just speaking the truth, and stop hatin’ on Danielle, you know she only lives 300 miles away, Though i would like to see Long Island vs. Brooklyn, my bet is on Brooklyn. Compare to Jersey, New York is boring and dull.

Regarding the mob thing. The father was shot in the head, had his hands cut off and put in the truck of a car. If that’s not mob I don’t know what it. Having your hands cut off is the mob making a point.

There would be no show without Danielle…unless they have another enemy. they will never turn on each other and you need a catalyst for reality TV. NY show has a few..don’t we?

Follow recipe on box exactly ( especially mesuring oil..only 2 TBLS for mix…AND do not roll tight. Make it loose, not too loose. Then drop in boiling water and reduce asap and cover 20 minutes…done! The full recipe will be in our new book Secrets of a Jewish Mother out in 2010!

Honestly, maybe it’s just me but I feel horrible for Danielle’s children. They are the innocents in all of this. They will be mercilessly teased about “the book”. In there over-zealous attempt to get back at Danielle, when realistically the national attention given to the exposure of that book probably ruined those poor childrens lives. And what the heck did they ever do to Caroline / Dina. It’s shameful that two grown women would act like that. Just my opinion.

NY housewives have some “frenemies” – you somewhat like each other, get ticked off at each other, then get over it some, and so on…
The NJ housewives seem just “so over” Danielle – like they have no time for her. She’s a joke to them…if they could find a way to look for some good in her – then there could be opportunities for them to be together – but otherwise being reminded of how much she is hated all the time and having to defend herself to people who hate her seems like a waste of time. If they could get the “frenemy” thing going it would be good…

Love, love, LOVE you! With the exception of the blind eye you have for your precious little puppy, I think you are the voice of reason on RHWofNYC. You and Bethanny are just priceless together and I totally agree with you….Kelly is from another planet.

I grew up in Mississippi, taking summer vacations with my family in a Champion RV that slept 8, so it was great for my parents, 4 sisters and me to go “camping” in the Smoky Mountains every year. It’s a wonderful way to see the country and spend time with your family and pets. We even took our pet duck, Schroeder, camping with us once. Well…we only did it once because that stupid duck walked through the coals of our campfire as we were packing up to leave and burned the webs right off his feet. He survived fine, but that was 30 years ago and we still talk about it! LOL
You will love taking a trip in an RV, but make sure whoever drives it either is licensed for it….or gets lots of practice driving something that large.

Teresa is a hoot the way she shops for those ” princess ” girls. I have never seen so many clothes and shoes in my life, than that photo shoot. Teresa kept unzipping more and more suitcases and back-packs, and her little daughter kept hauling in more, right behind her. I would have been exhausted packing those clothes up.
Everyone needs to get over Danielle. The book is now old news, and her daughters seem to be handling everything well. We don’t know what is going on behind the camera anyway. The girls could be in therapy, who knows. Nearly everyone deserves a second chance ( outside of murder and child abuse and other horrific crimes , and her’s were not ), and I think the family and the viewer’s should give Danielle one.
I believe at one time, all of us has done something we were not proud of, and wished we had not done it, and wanted forgiveness. Sure, it may not have been Danielle’s crime’s, but not any of us walk on water. All of this fighting is getting out of hand and is childish. I believe some peace needs to enter the picture. And forgiveness !!

Hill’s dumb remarks about “the mob” make my blood boil- as if they would be on national TV..
But, after Danielle’s complete exposure on The Smoking Gun.com, Bravo must now dump her IMO, if for nothing else but her children’s sake. She has been exposed as a grifter and for what we have heard and seen since the show has been aired, she has not changed much and can be dangerous, obsessive and vindictive, even within her Wayne NJ environment; she probably would do a crime again for the money. I am sure they can find another Ramona or Kelly out there to antagonize everyone.

Jill, I am reading between the lines of your blog(s) that Kelly may, in fact, be back next year.. She is so vacant and boring to watch, I have to switch channels when she appears. I watch Bravo and the RH ( all except the idiots on the RHOC)to rid my head of work issues and worries and to allow a steady stream of other people’s “stuff” to flow through in its place- I “veg” in other words .. But OMG she has no worthy “stuff” to say and I have to actually bother to change the channel when she’s on.. Oy- kill me now!

GAH, it self-destructed before I got to see it. This makes me sad, I would have loved to have seen Jill’s perspective of the horror show. I can’t STAND these women, I miss the NY and OC crews.
