WHo cares WHO reveled the book. If you are upset about it..why birng it up on TV???? Who cares..she thinks best defense is good offense. they are using too much of Tuesdays dialogue.

i don’t understand why danielle needed to do this at the restaurant. theresa never did anything to her, so to pull a stunt like this at HER dinner party i thought was rude. if it was at dina’s it would still be rude, but more understandable.

I think that Danielle definately has some psychological issues. I work as a nurse in a psyche unit n she would fit right in. Why doesnt she get a job? She is not setting a very good example for her daughters. She is hung up with Dina, I think she is jealous of her looks n that fact that she was a single mother n found someone with money. I think thats exactly what Danielle is lookin for. Get off ur butt n go make a living instead of sellin ur body cuz to be honest, she looks a lil like Joan Rivers with her plastic face. Its women like her who give single women a bad name

It’s strictly about commanding attention from those around her. She doesn’t care about the time or place. She craves attention and she’s a pure DRAMA QUEEN — she needs to have everyone focused on her. It’s just like the episode when she had to have Theresa and Jacqueline discuss breaking up with her boyfriend. There was no reason for the discussion except to talk about herself and have everyone pay attention to her.

Danielle has no right to say that Caroline was rude for texting, when Danielle had no right on bringing the book up. She should’ve ATLEAST mentioned something to Jacqueline. Not to mention she should’ve attempted to be calm, without an attitude, about the situation and not attack people when she was a guest.

Well, I didn’t like all that table flippin mess that was just too ghetto for even New Jersey. The older sister is just a fake head of the “family” as she seems unable to correct things if family is wrong family is wrong. The head of the family should be able to have an even hand/head no matter the situation as well as not participate in “bad” behaviors. She’s a fake. I find it funny that they were engaged is some sexual talk while the children were at the table and listening yet when this “outsider” begins to speak about the “families” bad behaviors they remember that the children are present. So parents forget about the children until they need an excuse. I’m sure the children have overheard these parents talking mess and can pretty much repeat what their parents have spoken about.

This is Dina’s second reality show. The first one she did was for MTV on her wedding and her husband cheated on her a couple times before they got married. I don’t get how she could marry a guy that is never around and cheated on not only once, but a few times.

Here’s the thing. If I don’t like someone (or I think they don’t like me), I would stay away or keep my distance. Danielle needs to realize you can’t make people like you. She has no clue how to deal with friendships/relationships. Those ladies are quite reserved with who they let into their circle. Danielle just came on way too strong and ruined any hope of friendships with those women….the book and her past were just icing on the cake.

My thought on this whole thing is this: If the book if full of lies, doesn’t that mean Danielle could have sued for defamation or gotten an attorney to stop the book from being published? Or is this book classified as a novel? That’s something that I just don’t understand.

Danielle Staub’s sordid past was the subject of an amazing fight on Monday’s finale. Now it looks like it may continue to haunt her – sex tape style!
Steve Zalewski claims he has videos of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star performing sex acts – on him and on herself – and may sell them.
Her ex-boyfriend, 27, whom Danielle dated and dumped on the Bravo reality hit last week, says the 46-year-old Staub was a raging nymphomaniac.
“Not only does she want to have sex all the time, but she loves the thrill of doing it in public places, where she might get caught,” he says.
“She wanted to make love in restaurant bathrooms every time we went out — she’d get excited and say, ‘The people can hear you doing it outside!’”

Other locales in which Steve Zalewski porked Danielle Staub include the back patio of her home, in cars, at a police firing range (!?) and a crowded park.
But the two went through a bad breakup, fueled in large part by Staub’s penchant for borrowing large sums of money from him, Zalewski says:
“She tries to look affluent. But she couldn’t pay the household bills or buy food. Even then, she’d want to borrow 20 grand from me to buy jewelry!”
Now Steve is turning to the best possible way of recouping some of his cash: distributing a Danielle Staub sex tape – or tapes! to the top bidder.
“I’m definitely weighing my options as far as getting it out there,” Zalewski said. “She cost me so much money, why shouldn’t I make a few dollars?”

Watching RHNJ Director’s cut…Here’s my prob with it! How come they were so offended by Danielle wanting to bring up the book but it was okay for Teresa to talk in the same room about having her “boobies” done and her husband wanting to screw her all the time. Jacqueline’s “truth” is not completely based on seeing and hearing things for herself. She totally admits that the “salon book reveal” is something she was informed about, but did not witness. So, she really can’t say what happened in that situation, yet she started talking like she was there and saw/heard everything. That was just foolish and that’s where I disagree with her in standing up to her sister-in-laws. The only thing I think you can believe from her is that Dina probably did find the book online or something. If you read interviews online from after the finale, there is more information concerning where Dina’s dislike of Danielle stems from and it has nothing to do with the book. I think Danielle is obsessed with Dina and wishes Dina liked her. Otherwise, why so much focus on her? I bet you could have video evidence of Caroline showing others the book and she’d still say it was Dina. Crazy!
I think Jacqueline has a very good heart, but good hearted people tend to be taken advantage of and manipulated much easier. I think Danielle has played her very well. There have been exchanges between them that I think show how Danielle tries to work her over. I think Caroline, Dina, and even Teresa (after witnessing things with Danielle) are shrewder in seeing Danielle for what she is…a hot mess that thrives on drama and wants to play the victim so people will feel sorry for her and take care of her. I feel sorry for her daughters because I predict they’ll be needing a good dose of therapy in the future as they embark on their lives as young women. The lack of boundaries between them and their mother as well as their mom’s penchant for playing the victim and parading men in and out of their lives has to have had some effect on them. They probably won’t realize it until they are older, though.
Teresa’s table flipping was something else, but, by all accounts, that was the first time any of them had seen her react like that. I think she was just FED UP with Danielle’s drama and it boiled over. A lot of people want to take her down a peg because she became hot headed or whatever, but everyone has a boiling point and I don’t think it should be held against her.
Caroline totally rocks and I think she’s the most authentic of the bunch. I believe her that she showed the book. I believe Dina was with her. I don’t blame her for being concerned and fearful of Danielle and what chaos she may bring to those Caroline is close to. She’s nobody’s fool and she isn’t going to let someone make someone in her family out to be a fool either if she can help it. Good for her!

Danielle is a nutcase…I loved Theresa…We have all had people in our lives that have made us want to react the exact same way! We may not have done it, but we sure wanted to. Some people need the drama so bad that they don’t back down when a situation goes bad until they get the BIG reaction. Danielle knows how to push buttons. I just wanted to say I do feel bad for Danielle, and I think she did the right thing and bring the book up, was it the wrong time? Yes! did she have the right? Yes! who cares what she did 25 years ago, everyone makes mistakes and everyone regrets things they did in their past! So who is anyone to judge! That is the one problem with this frigin country everyone has something to say about everyone. Worry about your own life!!! This is a reality show and we don’t see everything that went on so we can’t really make a fair judgement. Maybe they are far more things between Danielle and Dina we don’t know about, or any of the other housewives. But from what I saw I am so glad Jacqueline stood up and said something, it just seems to me Dina and Caroline need to get a life and not try and pick who their sister-in-law should be friends with. I mean my god I think this is why I have more guy friends than girlfriends, women are so damn petty. So you don’t like Danielle fine move on, Theresa that was comical, it was to funny what she did, I do symphatize with her, it was her dinner party and Danielle was rude and she took as much as she could, I would of probably reacted the same way. I’m totally suprised that someone doesn’t have the least bit of sympathy for Danielle. I have to agree that up until the finale I wasn’t a fan of hers or would want her for my BFF but there are a few things to take into consideration that no one has mentioned. First of all I’m sure Bravo relished the fact and possibly encourage the girls to be outrageous – makes for good ratings. Bringing the book to the dinner was good TV. Seondly, she is a mother, albeit maybe more liberal than most but that is her business. To bring out her past (how many of us have skeletons in our closet) to discredit her in her community was terrible. Then all the lying and ganging up on her was appauling. I think she deserves an apology from someone, not a friendship but just being decent and realizing this was not handled correctly.

I agree with everything you said Jill. I don’t think flipping a table makes one classy or classless, I would have flipped the table, thrown drinks and kicked butt had she spoken to me like that and she’s eating a very expensive meal on me and my husband! I think Danielle only came to start more drama with that book because all she had to do was make a phone call and confront the person then or invited them to lunch and paid for it (oops I forgot she’s still waiting on money from her ex-husband). Why does everything has to be about YOU all the time. She’s broke and in my opinion I say she’s a whore because prostitutes get paid and whores get laid! There is no way she should be bringing all those different men around her daughters like that and I know she had to have been embarrassed when her daughters told her that all the men want is her goodies, I was floored at that comment and the look on her face was PRICELESS!!!!!!

Jiil, Love you and the ladies of NY (except Kelly) otherwise known as “one can shy a six pack” Enough about her, I wanted to know any info at all you can give me about any good websites or other help, besides Creaky Joints.com. I am 38 and a mother of a six year old boy and am also caring for my elderly mother who lives with me. I am recently diagnosed with RA. I am scared and depressed as hell at the thought of this diagnosis and the outlook for me down the road as I get older. Maybe just the name of someone to talk to that is young and suffering as well. Any help is very appreciated. New York is by far the best RH cast. Love you gals!

Jill I read your blog on the bravo site but they never publish my replies so I figured I would do it here.
I agree with you 100%. I know that on NJ.com Dina outlined what the original fight between them was but quite frankly it had to be more than that. I think that Danielle had designs on Tommy , Dina’s husband at one time and that is where all of the anger and jealousy between the two started…. JMO
Can’t wait for your season 3! What will I do without any housewives on during the summer?

Have you ever walked a day in Danielle Staub’s shoes??? Do you really know her to make such pointed and “conclusive” statements about her on the Bravo blog website??? Have you ever had to wonder where your next meal would come from Jill? How you would pay for your rent or mortgage? If Bobby was not in your life, where would you be Jill??? Where would any of you women be without your husbands? Is Bobby not your second husband??? Please!!! The audacity!
I think Danielle rocks and I think she has the biggest and baddest balls that you could only wish you had and against all odds, Danielle managed to turn her life around and become an awesome mother to those precious and might I add, cutest and most well behaved girls of the entire Housewives franchise. I think Danielle showed tremendous guts and courage to walk into the lion’s den and face those cowardly women at that dinner!
Those women spent so much time talking about Danielle and her past. Danielle had every right to confront them head on, without pre-conditions!
Danielle has gone through some difficult times in her life and she is the total sum of those experiences. We all don’t have the same kind of background’s and support system Jill so never imagine your truth is everyone’s truth. Never imagine that your privileged experiences are universal. We are all not the same and if we were, life on earth would be so dull.
Please show some respect and understanding towards Danielle and other women who may be in a similar situation.
Deep down, I think Danielle is actually really sweet and vulnerable. I think she wants to be loved, just like everyone else. So what if she wants a rich husband? Hello?? Look at yourself!!! Don’t act so righteous and holier than thou Jill. Its not very becoming of you. I happen to like you so its sad that I am so mad at you today. Try to understand where people are coming from and show some respect towards people’s struggles. So what if Danielle loves attention? Who is it hurting? The last time I checked, you are using your position as a Housewife on NYC to plug Zarin Fabrics and all the other ladies are plugging their stuff as well.
Kindness and understanding will take you much further in life Jill.

Here is what I think would be the ideal Bravo lineup for Housewives 2010 where Andy would then get the Emmy for most courageous development project: Vicki, the drunk, and of course, the also always drunk but really also cheesy one, Tamra, and her creepy kid all from OC..
Then let’s throw in the blond with the wig, Kim, from Atlanta with the lousy singing voice but fancies herself a country singer, and then the one who sounds like she excavated the BQE, Ramona(and her loud,hater husband).
Then how about the one person in the entire world who jogs down the middle of Park Avenue during the midday rush, Kelly, from the RHONY and finally, the frightful sex crazed tranny from NJ who now has a sex tape circulating with her young/old ex boyfriend, Beverly aka Danielle.
So we have Vicki, Tamra, Kim, Ramona, Kelly and Beverly/Danielle. Perfect.. Vicki will ultimately try to kill Ramona and Tamra will throw a major hate on Kelly and Kim and Beverly /Danielle will go at it over old rich men. I wouldn’t miss this one, you?

Anyways renting a RV I am thinking you should have a Camping World in the NY area that could tell you where to rent one. We have places that rent RV’s all over Sounthern Ca. We love our trailer!! I just wanted to post that there are alot of places to buy the RV’s in the South. We are the extreme tailgaters for football season so I am positive that you could purchase the ultimate luxury RV in Alabama. On a separate note, I don’t think the Housewives brand is intriguing because of the money involved. I think the appeal of each group of women is how different women truly are depending on the area of which they live. I find the differences truly fascinating.

Good going on your interview with the public radio guys last season, too. I loved how they asked you if you knew what was going on in the world and you told about all your fundraising and made such intelligent comments. You represent for all the women like me who were hot until 40 something and are now suffering hot sweats and menopausal symptoms and are locked up in their houses and never leave. You are what we all would have been if we had just kicked it a little harder in our 30′s. Now we are in our 50′s and look to you to be our hero. ine. Jill, I just read the post from Team Danielle, and I swear to God she posted that herself. Just like the narcissist to do that, too. She needs to go see a shrink to get help for her narcissistic personality disorder before her kids hit puberty so they have a chance to try to be normal. She doesn’t see her mental problems, maybe Bravo could arrange an intervention to save the little girls. Do you see how sad and ashamed they are of her all the time, and how she uses them to make herself feel better instead of being a real mother and meeting Their Needs? She needs a wake-up shock treatment.

Boy what a whack job. If she thinks that there is nothing wrong with her, she needs a shrink. To involve her innocent daughters in her diva drama and filthy/trashy lifestyle is just not necessary.
It was totally unnecessary for her to bring the book to Teresa’s dinner party. I feel that she got exactly what she deserved and Jacquelyn is just as bad as Danielle by taking up for her. I guess J will have to learn on her own by trial and error – the hard way.
I totally agree with you. I wouldn’t pay any attentionn to what “Team Danielle” said above because once again she is only tooting her own horn.

Okay, Team Danielle on June 20th needs to go elsewhere. Why has no one on the NJ show said the bottom line on all this drama with Danielle? She should NOT have used Teresa’s invitation/dinner to just vent her garbage. Caroline or Jacqueline should have left graciously, refusing to subject everyone to that crap, reality TV or not. And Teresa should have THROWN a glass of wine into Danielle’s face.
I don’t know what Danielle wants but its certainly nothing like she’s putting out there.
I wished, several times, that you or Bethany had been there to really focus on what was going on there. Neither of you would have put up with the whining for long. CAN’T wait for NY’s next season!

You may think Danielle wants to be loved like everyone else, but she is LOOKING FOR MONEY—love isn’t in the top seven of her list.
We’d have more respect for Danielle if she actually struggled to do something on her own, rather than laying down for money.

i liked you (kinda) on NY, but your grasp of the real world and what people have to do go through in life to make things happen is VERY off…you are spoiled and have a very tilted view of how things REALLY are. I would love to see you walk a few days in the shoes of someone else who doesn’t have a rich old husband to buy them cars that need to be returned because they aren’t compatible with a phone!!!

Hi Jill, all I can say is that I pray and hope your show on Bravo NEVER turns into a scandalous rag magazine theme like the Housewives of New Jersey has turned into. I would rather watch a show like yours that may have a few little feuds from time to time that are harmless but if it ever turns into anything like this New Jersey show I’ll be out of there so fast. While it may be good for ratings I don’t think we need this trash television style. The little disagreements with Kelly have been harmless but this other show goes way beyond what is necessary. I beg you to never let your show turn into this kind of scandalous junk.

I have NO idea what Danielle was talking about when she said Dina/Caroline made the book public knowledge. According to online sources, the book was published in 1995! So therefore, the book has been public knowledge for 15 years. I honestly don’t think it’s a big deal that Dina/Caroline went around and told other people about the book. They were telling people they knew about a book they found interesting. Just like my friends and I reccommend/talk about books.

Anyway, Jill I am going to have to agree with you spot on. I have watched you and always found you to be a stand up classy lady who is down to earth and confident.
I see Danielle’s point about being angry and hurt by the book revelation and wanting to “clarify”…but she lacks ( in the show) the one important ingredient…TACT.
Who goes to a dinner party and does what she did? It should of been done in private, without cameras..not in front of the families and children. If she was so mortified by the book…then why bring more attention to it? Im sure its flying off the racks on amazon…
All of us can sit here all day and blah blah blah about these people we see on TV, but the reality is that she chose to put herself in the spotlight by doing the show…and for good bad or indifferent, whatever “comes out” on the show is fair game.
I think when somone signs up to do this type of show…you realize that you will be in the tabloids..people will talk…and Bravo/NBC is only going to amplify the show to get better ratings…can you blame them?
Hopefully people will learn something…I commend Danielle on being honest and coming out with the truth, but wish it was done with more tact, and not at someones dinner party.

cruise america is a good company however…go directly to builder and I am certain YOU could have one for free. This industry has taken a horrible hit w/economy. Simply show you in the motorhome on the show in exchange. Having Wayne drive it is a good idea. Road trips are fine except there are places that you may not have the time to drive thru. You could fly to __ and have motorhome/Wayne waiting, have family fly in/out to meet you at places. Yosemite has a year in advance resv. for the best spots, a must see and Glacier park north of there is a must see. Ck out travel sites and read blogs written by travelers. This is my passion … so any info you want just …!
A U.S. supreme cout justice and wife travel this way and even stay nights at Wal-mart parking lots. These type of free lots offer the traveler a safe place to sleep when just passing thru. Many well known authors also travel this way. People you can meet on the road is as diverse as you are friendly.

The NJ housewives leave me feeling pessimistic about the world. With the exception of Jacqueline who I think seems very sweet, they’re all really nasty, negative, boring and a little pathetic. I feel a little sorry for Daniel because she can’t seem to get it together. Controversy can be entertaining to watch but not when its a middle aged woman with teenage daughters. She seems to make a lot of bad decisions involving men. It’s like she has no ambition in life other than to be taken care of. It’s hard to watch especially because she has those two beautiful daughters. Get a job lady! Her daughters seem oddly level headed and sweet. I hope she can keep it together enough not to ruin them. I want NY back!!!! I miss all the witty banter. The NJ women are boring. They don’t have anything interesting to say. No personality. Teresa seems like she would be pleasant to hang out with bc she seems very light hearted but it doesn’t come through on the show. I can’t stand listening to Dina and her awful monotone voice. Ugh!! She seems like a very bitter, spiteful person and I kind of wonder why. She’s just hateful for no reason. Caroline is ok, but she’s a bully. I respect her as a mom bc her kids obviously adore her and they seem like great kids. Funny too. Caroline is just annoying. Come back to me NY. I miss you in my life. Bethany can you hear me???

Miss Jill! You are my favorite NY housewife (well it’s really a tie between you Miss B and The Countess, I love the 3 of you!!!!!). I just read your blog on NJ “Queen of Accountability”. In general I’ll agree to disagree with you about Danielle. BUT I do have a bone to pick. I will give you an example of someone changing their name with no ties to legal problems or crimminal activity. 4 years ago I changed mine. I have a worthless “father” who I now call the sperm donor. my parents were married until I was 7 years old. I know who he is, we live in the same small Midwestern town. He just chose to not be responsible for the first family he created and moved on to a new one. My mother raised my brother and I with the help of her parents. They didn’t live long enough to see it happen but I legally took their last name and my grandfathers first name. he was a strong man who always stood up for what was right rather than what was easy. He taught us to work hard for what we wanted in life and not to be afraid to ask for help if we needed it. He was a good man and my grandmother was a good woman. I am proud to carry their name. Small bone…I’m over it already. I STILL LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

I just watched part 2 of the NJ Housewives reunion, and I must say the NY girls are much classier (minus 1 or 2). Danielle is nuts, I’m not sure I believe all her “feel sorry for me” nonsense; Caroline is a little too stone cold; Jacelyn is adorable, but I think too much of a pushover; I must say as ridiculous as Teresa was at that dinner, I love her and Joe, granted they have spoiled brats as children but they’re so funny and Dina, I love Dina.

Jill let me just start off by saying you are the most level headed woman on ANY of the housewives series… and was glad you posted about how you felt about Danielle and how she tries to portray herself as a victim. Everything you wrote was how I felt about them and I was glad it was said by you!
Being a victim of abuse myself growing up, I have never used it as an excuse for my character or behaviors. I think everyone is responsible for their own actions. For her to cry on national telivision and to say everyone is ganging up on her and they dont know what she had to go through.. i think is just bullshit! Every experience whether good or bad makes people who they are… having less and perhaps having bad things happen should test a persons character. ITS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR CRAPPY BEHAVIOR!!
As a victim of abuse i have NO sympathy for Danielle.. and I hope she wont try and play that card for too long. Act like a classy lady like Jill or Bethany and try and keep your children out of the drama for once! Danielle is lucky that her children seem to be more level headed than her…maybe they will end up being decent kids if they dont do like mommy does.
Team Danielle and anyone else who sides with Danielle after seeing all of the footage of the show must be Danielle herself posting. I cant see why any smart level headed person would side with her after everything she has done to cause more drama on that show.

I just watched and laughed at them all. I am sorry but I am the kind of person that thinks the language that you use shows your intelligence. I really get tired of seeing these women on these shows have to use language that shows how much thought you put into what you are saying. I do not have the money these women have but I do not go around cussing or talking bad about people. I am the kind of person that if I do not like you I do not have anything to do with you but I am a big enough person to at least be nice even if I really do not like the person and when they talk to me I will answer but I do not have to visit there home.
Danielle was wrong to bring the book to a dinner party and she should have talked to each women privately instead of going off in front of children and all the people in the restaurant. What is it people who have money lose class? I am not talking about you Mrs. Zarain or Ms. Bethany because you both have class but I am wondering about all the other Housewives.

In response to “disappointed in Jill” post, how dare you call Ally’s arthritis trivial. What if you had to see your daughter in constant pain? You should be ashamed of yourself. Jill’s opinion of Danielle has absolutely nothing to do with her daughter and you are an idiot for bringing that up. Arthritis is much more than “creeky knees” it causes severe pain and should not be taken so lightly. And as far as I could see Jill works very hard.
