I loved you and your family and beautiful home on Traditional Home magazine! Absolutely gorgeous, and I am a “BLUE” decorator at heart. TRADITIONAL HOME is a staple subscription of mine.
Could you please give us a hint on how painful the surgery procedure was to undergo? I have Psoriatic Arthritis(similar to Rheumatoid), Reactive Arthritis, and spondylarthropies, so any help in advice to reduce my bustline would be greatly appreciated!

How exciting to have you live blogging. Im watchn a re-run right now waiting for the new episode. I just adore the show. You ladies are so great, very classy, funny, and sooo like-able. I mostly enjoy you and Bethany, I think you two gals are the most approachable. Your friendship is also very nice!
Im just wondering, what did you think of the episode where Kelly (blah!!!!) was “running” in the middle of the street?? I mean come on, who does that? Does that really happen? I hope you guys “UN-INVITE” her for next season!
And I am 1 of MANY MANY MANY ppl that feel that way. (And I can’t wait to see how tonite’s episode plays out where Kelly misses her own costume party??)

I totally agree with you about sponsorships. Deaf organizations lately are tightening up…No more sponsors coming in. One of my good friends is an Executive Director of an org for Domestic Violence for Deaf women has worked without pay.
It’s sad.

I am two months out from my breast reduction! You will be so happy once the soreness goes away. My friend and I watch your show every week and talk about you and Bethany like your in our group of friends. I love New York ..in fact..was there twice last year. I was actually in the city the same week that tonight’s show was taped. I could easily be in the background. LOL. In my dreams. Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy the show. I love the new apartment and the photos in Traditional Home look great. Was sad to see the Barbara Barry dining chairs go, but the new ones look great too. The color scheme is great and the bedrooms look fantastic as well.

We’ve also began to appreciate Alex and Simon, I hope they are able to remain as together as they seem…The Countess can seem nice, but a bit of a hipocrite with manners, her husband’s title/status, and motherhood…(seriously Rosie is invaluable to her son especially), does Ramona have a hyperactive thyroid? My grandmother would’ve referred to as a delusional child. Kelly, if she doesn’t attach her name to anything, then why in the world is the whack job on the show??? She is there for self promotion….Get REAL and get over yourself Kelly…The only suggestion for you, Ginger is not the most congenial store mascot.

As he is there trying to, I don’t know, make you feel “guilty” for working hard and being responsible all your life, you basically through him off about the school in Africa you helped build. Hi Jill! first of all, I want to start off by saying that you and Bethanny are my favorite housewives. That is why, I was so dissappointed in your attitude when Bobby surprised you with that beautiful SUV and you had the audacity to say that you still expected a birthday present. Furthermore, you told Bobby “I am not happy” because it had an ipod you did not like and some other perceived flaws. It is evident to me by these statements that you take your wealth and economic status for granted. It appears as if you don’t appreciate what you have. Meanwhile, there are people who have lost their homes and their jobs due to this economy. There are people living in their cars, for christ sake! On a personal note, my parents are financially struggling. Unfotunately, I am living paycheck to paycheck myself, therefore, I am unable to help them the way I would like to. This is why, I was so taken aback when you made these comments because if I had even half of what you had, I would be so happy and greatful. I do not begrudge you and Bobby your wealth. I know that you both worked very hard to get what you have. However, be more appreciative because you never know, it could be here today and gone tommorow . I have cousins who married well-off men and they would never react the way you did,if their husband was generous enough to surpirse them with an SUV.
Also, you are very lucky to be married to Bobby. From what I seen, he seems to be a very generous, patient, and caring man. You are also lucky to have Bobby because had that been any other man you said that to about the car, he would have taken it away from you and you would not have received anything else. Quite frankly, if he reacted that way, you would have deserved it. I am a single, attractive woman in her 30′s who is having difficulty meeting a good man. That is why I get so annoyed and sometimes angry with women like you who have men that treat them like queens, yet don’t show appreciation for your men. I have been watching the show for sometime now and from what I seen,I don’t doubt that you love Bobby and know that he is a good man. However, you’re reaction towards the car he surprised you with was just wrong.
On a positive note, you are still one of my favorite housewives and overall, you are a very generous and caring woman. I admire all of the charity work you do and you are a great mom to Ally. Ally is very pretty and she seems to be a lovely and intelligent young woman. I am sorry to hear that she is struggling with Arthritis at such a young age. However, she appears to be taking it in stride. On a final note, I loved your mom when she appeared on the show. She was very straightforward and honest. I also think Brad is a riot! Don’t worry, I am still a fan of yours because you’re positve traits outweigh the negative ones and no one is perfect
. Just try to be more appreciative of what you have.

Hi Jill,
Thank you and your daughter for all you have done for the Arthritis Foundation, and for the awareness that you and your daughter have brought by talking about JRA on your show. My son has JRA, (since he’s been 9 he’s now 13). No-one knows the struggles that these kids go through. My son takes Enbrel injections along with other autoimmune medications. If it wasn’t for people raising money for the Arthritis Foundation, these medications might not be available for my son, and without them he is virtually disabled. I keep my son involved by doing the Arthritis Walk, receiving the Arthritis Now magazine, and being an advocate anyway that he can. I believe by keeping your kids involved in the cause makes them more involved and responsible for their health. I’m also an RN, and have seen the devastating effects of arthritis on all age groups. Again, thank you so much.

You manage to save this show from being one running joke. I’d like to see you have your own show. You are a fascinating woman and are blessed with the common touch for one so wealthy. It makes you easy to relate to while having virtually nothing in common! I wish you the best and keep that wonderful outlook on life. You are also very pretty. Your good heart shows in your face.

I live in Orange County,California and i often see the Orange county housewives, they are so fake and so annoying and what i see on tv and in real life. You new york girls are fun to watch ! You are my favorite! Dont ever be like the fake women out here in the OC!

You are AMAZING … I would love to see you and Bethenny do more together. Love the show, …I’m 58 (also have Arthitis) and this is the fist reality show that my daughter (27) and I plan dinner around and watch and discuss afterwards. Also, I too felt that you handled the BBC interview great. I agreed with everything you replied …hard work pays off and you shouldn’t spend more than you earn and that goes for the GOVT too!!!!
Ya’ll have a invitation to come to Ft Worth, Texas …maybe the girls can go on a girls weekend to our woderful city! YeeeHaww!

Jill- I blogged about your interview with the BBC on RH of NYC, which aired this past week. I thought it was BRILLIANT. You are awesome. Thank you for reminding us that it is hard work that brings wealth and achievement.

By the sounds of things the reunion show is going to have alot of antagonism.
I just hope Mario, Kelly, and Ramona (in that order) get put in their place! Ramona seems to be in hiding and letting Mario do all her blogging.
For those who criticize you buying a purse or getting a new car, they are just wishing it was them.
I love seeing you and Bobby together! A great couple that compliment each other. Like many others I agree, Mario has a crush you.!

I just recently started watching the show and I have to say that you are my favorite. I think you are down to earth, honest and very up front. It is hard to find genuine people in this world and I thank God for people like you. I also just received my copy of Traditional Home and I have to say your NY apartment looks fabulous!

Jill, loved the statement you made from your Dad. “If you spend less than you have then you will always be rich”. I passed it on to my Grandchildren. It’s a good moto for them to live by.

I absolutely love you! You are the most genuine and giving person on the show. I currently live on Long Island, and my son could use some community service projects for high school. Any suggestions on what he could do for Creaky Joints? He is currently do a mailing to help the blind.
