Jill, I wrote to you last week but never saw it posted so I’m not sure if you saw it. I was diagnosed with Rhumatoid Arthritis when I wasn’t much older than your daughter. I can remember being in so much pain and my family thinking I was faking it. I just want to tell you how wonderful it is that you are doing whatever you can to make your daughter be as comfortable as she can be. God Bless You!!!

Have a great time! My wife and I are waiting for tonight’s episode! Did anyone comment yet that your homepage picture on top makes you look like M<onica’s “sister-angel” from “Touched By An Angel?” I’m cracking up! You know, when the yelllow lights would shine on her and in her Irish brogue accent she would say, “Yes, I’m an angel.”
I can see YOU appearing on “Touched By An Angel” — a person is ready to kill himself and the yellow lights appear over your red hair and you say (everyone picture Jill’s accent saying), “Hawiii! I’m Jill Zahhhrinnn — an angel from Lawng Awiland! What are ya doin? Don’t be stupid! Why would you kill yourself? Life is fabulous! You could run with a fabulous circle of friends! Get up and clean yourself up! Look at this place — it looks like the Van Kemps! Oh my Gawd, I can’t believe this. I’m getting Gloria to punch you out if you don’t get up right now!” Then you open up a Zarin’s Fabric bag and the dove flies out!!
I think Jill would be FABULOUS as Monica’s sister on Touched By An Angel… too bad they cancelled it. Oh well, next time Jill! We’ll watch for you and Ally on AI tomorrow night!! Have fun sweetie!

Hi Jill.
Just want to comment that you are my favorite “housewife”! I have become so hooked on the show, and all thanks to you and your personality. You are the most “Real” of the “Real Housewives”. So, thanks for a fun time, especially in the midst of some scary economic times!
March 24th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Jill, I ‘m in New Orleans watching the new episode & you look FABULOUS in everything that lovely designer in a skirt put on you – including the (AWESOME) necklace that you could wear in the nude, but wouldn’t because you’re not Alex. hilarious. I’ve been through a housefire & 4 years later – Hurricane Katrina firsthand – & you’re the real deal. Don’t have time for any B.S. And obviously neither do you. Thanks! Have an awesome time in Vegas! They’re a little tamer there than we are here. So, get down here to the Big Easy – you & Ally (& Bobby) would love it! And don’t bring anyone else but Bethany!
March 24th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
Jill, I just finished watching Kelly be an absolute bitch! As stated below I have Arthritis too and would love it if someone like Kelly woke up one day feeling like your daughter and I do EVERY day. I am almost lost for words!!!
March 24th, 2009 at 10:41 pm
hey jill – i think you’re hilarious and i LOVE the show. being a new york girl myself i’m a huge fan of the Real Housewives of NYC
March 24th, 2009 at 11:34 pm
Jill, I just found out that Ally has the same type (same family) of arthritis that I have. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis which means my spine is fusing together & it also affects my other joints & ligaments. I’m telling you this because I want to get involved in the charity but also ask how Ally is doing and what treatments she’s using and if they’re helping etc. PLEASE have someone contact me as I desperately want to get involved!!! We need to get the word out and find a cure. I don’t know anyone with my disease or anything like it and the support would be nice. Thank you and God Bless.

Jill-
I must say that you are grade A fabulous. I hope that you actually read these and that I am not typing to no-one, you’re a top notch jewish gal, so I think you will; Us jews keep our promises. Just wanted to say that I think it is amazing how active you are in charities, gaining support and awareness for Ally’s arthritis. I know as well how horrible spondyloarthropthy can be with it affectig a member of my family as well. I can relate to the pain that Ally feels on a daily basis, but it is definitely good that she is looking at colleges and considering leaving New York to do so, good for her! I hope this finds Bobby and the rest of your family well as well. If you ever need a replacement understudy for a new gay husband, please report to the e-mail address listed above dear; I clean, do makeup, and am going to design school… let me tell ya I’ll having you looking even more fabulous than you already are. I think that you and Bethenny are amazing and definitely make the show, Kelly is rather caddy and seems to be a bitch, for a lack of a better word. Not to mention she needs a commercial grade hoist to put her boobs back to where they should be. Luann seems rather caught up in the fact that she’s a Countess, personally, gag me… yes we all know about the Suez Canal, can we please move on. But, you already know everything that I have said and more so I will stop speaking, don’t even get me started on Ramona, her hair looks rather messy all the time, there is good messy and there’s bad “forgot to set your alarm clock” messy; she is unfortunately the later, and its almost a debate of whether she is actually sane. Simon and Alex… well you know. But anyway dear, Zang Toi looked fabulous, you looked great, and you have definitely lost weight from season one, congratulations! Oh my goodness this letter is almost getting stalker long so I will leave it at that dear, have yourself a wonderful time in Vegas.
P.S. Watch out for the people passing out little pieces of paper on the corners of the sreets in Vegas, they are NOT coupons sugar!
Keep livin’ the dream darlin!

Oh my goodness! look at me posting again, this one will be short i promise, i just wanted to say something to you and forgot, silly me!
Your mother looks like Barbara Streisand in Funny Girl… I hope she finds that as a compliment, she’s adorable!
Ta-Ta dear

Jill….Good luck with your college visits. My daugher Remi, who actually was on Ally’s ATW teen tour two summers ago is also looking at colleges. If you decide to visit U of MD let us know. Very popular school for New York and New Jersey kids.
We live in Potomac, MD. and know you have several fans here. We all love the show. It is the talk of the “town”. We actually have several housewives that I could see on your show!
Enjoy Ameican Idol-

Jill-
You should definitely write a book about what you’re best at—being a kind and authentic woman of privilege living in NYC. You are a terrific role model for working moms everywhere! You & Bethenney are by far the classiest, funniest ladies on RH!
March 25th, 2009 at 9:51 am
go to creakyjoints.org. Ally has Spondyloarthothopy. Jill

I want to chat about how you said simon drinks too much. I saw the show last night and out of genuine concern, he does drink too much. Honestly he looks very sickly. He has all the physical signs of an alcoholic, swollen, red and misshapen. I am not trying to ridicule him or anything. But the signs are all there. I believe you were being truthful about it. I really appreciate your honesty on the show and I believe you do not try to be anything you are not. Good, bad or indifferent you are who you are! I was wondering if anyone else thought he had a serious problem. I think an intervention would be something great on the show, it would create great awareness, etc….Simon just looks so ill. Alcoholism is a real disease and for him it is really showing how sick he might be. Thanks
Tricia

Oh the reason I am writing to you is because I believe you have real compassion and you seem easy to reach out too.
March 25th, 2009 at 3:31 pm
Hope you all have fun on your trip. Ally seems like a lovely girl. Regarding last night’s show and the charity meeting, I thought you handled Kelly’s concerns with grace. I’m sure you were a little surprised at her reaction to being listed on the invite. You reacted wonderfully by saying you didn’t want her to do anything she isn’t comfortable with. Also loved the dinner with you and Bethenny. After this show ends and Ally is in college, I think Bravo should do a spinoff with just you and Bethenny. I like the other ladies too, but you and Bethenny have such chemistry.
March 25th, 2009 at 5:54 pm
Jill,
Just became a new follower in twitter and just wanted to ask…wth was with Kelly’s comment ‘that’s cute’ during the charity meeting? I can’t stand that woman and you’re right…she needs a collection of bras to wear- and the first time she wears one, she can’t keep it inside her dress and to boot…did you see the show? she couldn’t zip the dress all the way up.
Anyhoo, keep up the great work with the charity. If I lived in NY, I’d help you but I live in Boca…we need a housewives of Boca Raton….maybe?

Tell “The Countess” and Kelly that while speaking, the repeated phrases “you know” and “like” sound incredibly low-rent and under educated.
I’m a true New Yorker like you, from the Island out in Suffolk, and those constant “you knows” and “likes” sound very sophomoric.
Love you. I live in Texas now and I’m craving a good knish. Could you maybe eat one on an episode next season?

Jill:
Best wishes for a grand visit to LA & VEGAS!
That’s great news about your Mom having her very own column. I knew it would be a matter of time as she truely is the real deal and gives genuine advice.
Until next week, enjoy your West Coast trip!

March 26th, 2009 at 7:38 pm
Hi Jill,
I just Googled Spondyloarthropathy. I have psoriatic arthritis – I didn’t realize it was included in that category of arthritis. I’m just curious which type Ally has – Ankylosing spondylitis, Psoriatic arthritis, Reactive arthritis / Reiter’s syndrome, Enteropathic arthritis, or Undifferentiated.
Not that it matters that much because they all stink!
March 26th, 2009 at 7:45 pm
Bryan- It will be OK. Wynn & Encore are classy places. I stayed at Encore earlier this month, and I LOVED it! Try Sinatra for some great Italian food & Daniel Boulud for great Brasserie fare. Oh, and did I mention there’s great shopping at both esplanades?
Brett- Good points, all of them. And oh yes, do steer clear of those little sheets of paper peddled all over The Strip.
Jill- I love you. You’ve really become my favorite housewife… And I’m from Orange County! (Shhh, don’t tell Vicki or Jeana.) I’m sorry I missed Good Day LA today, but I hope you’ll be visiting us out west more often. Hopefully once Prop H8 is repealed in California, you’ll find a multitude of gay husbands who love you for being so fabulous while also being so refreshingly down to earth.
Have fun in Vegas!
March 28th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
Hi Jill! You will love the Wynn Hotel! We alwatys stay in the Towers Suite section. It is very private and quie! It is like a hotel within a hotel! Kind of like the way The Waldorf Astoria has also The Waldorf Towers.

I saw you at the Cleveland Airport last Tuesday. You and Ally both looked beautiful. I hoped you had fun out west.
